Living at bria was truly one of the WORST experiences of mine, and my families lives.
First. This place is NOT family friendly. They move in an old man under us, and he made complaints about my kids noise during the day hrs! I have young kids. They run around and play. Normal stuff. But this man didn't like any noise apparently, (I didn't even know who lived there until I finally saw him on his balcony when he came out to kick his little dog for barking), and the manager Pam Sloane took his side and issued warnings and lease violations. Again, this is all for DAY TIME noise. The stress it put on me and my kids through, trying to keep them quiet to appease this man and the manager cuz she threatened eviction, seriously took years off my life, and made my kids life hard too. Then, they forced us out by DOUBLING our rent so we couldn't afford it to live there! Almost 4,600$ for a 3 bedroom apartment. I talked to other tenants and none of them had a price increase like this! So UNFAIR!
Second. There is nothing luxury about these apartments. Our apartment was new when we moved in. The quality of the paint was so bad. You could literally walk up to a wall and pick paint off. I had marks When we moved out after almost 3 years, it looked like we had destroyed the place, when it was all in the quality. But guess who is paying for it? And some of the damage was already there when we moved in and made note of it in our file, which the office is supposed to keep for moveout. Then it was conveniently missing when we moved and they charged us for all the "damage". And out side the apartment by the stairs, it's all falling apart as well (see pictures). And you can hear everything from your neighbors. I've heard other people complain at the pool and such that they are lacking sound proofing cuz you hear everything. We could hear our side neighbors talking in their bedroom next to ours all the time.
