Very clean community , the manager and maintenance team is top notch ! They can only work with what they have . Ya water breaks happen on these old pipes But they are on it . I have been here almost 3 years and the lot Rent has went up 3 times . This year was .25% higher than previous . I get things cost more ! But basically $775 A month for HOA fees when we own are home is crazy . It covers Snow removal , Water , basic cable , Trash . I can not be 100% but there are several Familys that own the park . From what I was told there is one main person in charge . And His Father wanted it to be affordable To elderly people . Now smack in the face a $75 dollar increase when most are retired or on SSI ! My Grandmother lives here and although I love the community she is apart of, I was appalled to hear that the HOA fee is $600. I am trying to understand what this covers, as the snow removal is not kept up, I do not see maintenance of any kind, and no community amenities. read more

My mother lives in Monte Vista. Amazing neighbors. They keep the park very clean but they have raised the lot space to an excessive amount. She has lived here for a little over 3 years and the rent has been raised 4 times. They claim it's for upgrades. They added solar lights which are crap and don't stay on all night. This has caused the residents to be without outdoor lighting during the night after they go out. They are not even bright to begin with. They keep repaving the roads, claiming it's an upgrade when the roads were just fine. These senior citizens are stuck because they can't just pick up and move. I understand cost of living has increased but not to the point of where they keep raising the lot space. The family that owns it has become very greedy and taking advantage of senior citizens. So while they keep raising the rent these senior citizens have to do without food just to pay a lot rent. read more

Lot space rent has increased by over 19% in four months. For a senior park that's a bit excessive don't you think.
