I placed a large order from UberEats last night and the first miss was that nothing was labelled so it was hard, especially for the sandwiches, to decipher what was what. I ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner and was extremely disappointed when I opened the box to find what looked to be 1.5 sad pieces of chicken laying on top of a bed of fries. It looked like a garnish on top of the fries. Super measly and not what I was expecting... I'm not sure if this is the norm or if it was because we ordered closer to closing but either way I don't think there's an excuse for getting a box of fries when I ordered a souvlaki dinner. I will say that my bf enjoyed his Philly cheesesteak and there weren't any complaints about the other items. I was just super annoyed with that souvlaki dinner. Totally unacceptable and not worth $14... essentially I received a box of sides.

The burger was kinda flat and wide, giving you lots of surface area for condiments. They are dressed to order so you get exactly what you want. I had mine with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and mayo, pickles on the side. It tasted good and was moist without being drippy. The fries were crispy and plentiful. They seem to have only one size drink. Free refills? If you don't feel like having a burger, there seems to be lots of other options. There are also Hot Dogs, Philly Sandwiches, Poutines, Souvlaki, Gyros, Chicken Fingers, Greek Salads, and more. There seems to be something for everybody. I'll have to try the souvlaki next...

It's a step up from the other fast-food restaurants. Hero has higher quality meats, a more robust offering in toppings and a good assortment of sides. The Markham Road location has been in business for a few years and is quite busy due to it's prime location in a multi-service shopping plaza. Hero caters to all crowds as it serves up beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian options for its sandwiches and sides and has very good salads as well.
