I remember there was a Church's at Brimley and Sheppard in Scarborough many years ago and then they disappeared, all of them. I'm kinda glad they came back. I was feeling kinda hungry so I ordered their 3pc combo, which included three pieces of their crispy fried chicken, fries, biscuit, and a drink. I opted for a mix of spicy and original recipe, and got two pieces of leg and a huge piece of breast meat. Not bad. As expected, the chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious!. These pieces had just come out of the fryer and were really good! The biscuit and fries were equally good but the fries were a lot less than anticipated. This particular location has an awkward layout, with the main entrance on the corner of the building, steps away from a busy major intersection. The service counter is angled towards the entrance, which is okay for pedestrian traffic. This layout, however, creates blind spots for most of the dining room and also the entrance to/from the parking lot. The service provided by the two young ladies at the counter was good - friendly and courteous. While I was dining, however, the conversation in the kitchen got rather loud. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. Takeout might have been a better option.

I noticed that this Taco Bell had a long lineup. I decided give it a try. I ordered the soft taco combo, which gives you two beef tacos. I upgraded to nachos supreme, and indicated that I didn't want any sour cream on it as well as in my tacos. Done! I also got a Diet Pepsi. This Taco Bell has been around for a while. Pulling up to the drive-thru made me think that this place has been there for decades, with a feel of being back in the early 1990's or something. The car in front of me was clearing out a ton of garbage and stuffing everything in one of the conveniently placed garbage bins. As for me, I only had an empty Starbucks cup to dispose of. If you like chocolate,  get one! This time, mine was cold fudge squeezed out of a bag, and only about a half pump on top because they couldn't squeeze anymore out. Reason for not having actual hot fudge? "We just filled it" . Right. They have 2 types of burger you can pick- original or home burger. I was told by a loyal customer who frequently comes here- my boyfriend, that the original patty was frozen and the home burger were fresh grounded AA beef patty, so of course I have to pick the latter one. Home Cheeseburger ($13.21) super juicy... if you didn't wrap your burger before you bite into it, your hands will be soaked in burger drips (don't say I didn't warn you) buns were toasted so it added a little crunch to your bite Mushroom Swiss Burger ($14.69) Also uses fresh beef patty, each bite was super juicy that you just want to keep biting! Mushrooms and onions were both pan-fried, so it added a hint of smokey-ness flavour. Personally, I thought the garlic dill aioli could use a little more garlic or dill... I didn't remember there's aioli until I looked at the menu again Fries and onions included in the combo. Perfect crunch and crisp thick cut fries!
