I was fortunate to learn about Story Termite & Pest Control. I called the office, and explained the lack of service we had, what I was looking for and what Story could provide. They put in contact with our technician, Brian who meet me at the house. We walked the perimeter and I explained what we had in terms of bugs and those pesky ants that always seem to get inside certain areas during the warm summer months. While there was an initial cost, I was happy to pay it to start our service. It's 6 months and Story has been to the house three times. Minus the flies during the summer months, we've been very happy with the service we have received. Brian texts me a few days ahead of his arrival, in order to coordinate someone being home because of the dogs in the yard. Thanks Story for great friendly service!

There are broken tiles now. Then the office lied and said that we had signed a waiver and said that we had stated we were going to replace the roof anyway....which is a complete fabrication. Our service provider is Mike and he always sends me a reminder text the night before to give me a heads up. I woke up at six this morning and sent Mike a text to schedule an out of cycle service. He arrived less than two hours later and sprayed our perimeter. If you are looking for prompt, personal service, I highly recommend Key Termite & Pest Control.

We had a severe elm beetle infestation in our house and from the first time we had them out, we could tell they were knowledgeable about all different pests and treatments. (This is not what we found from other larger companies in the area, who didn't even know what Elm beetles were and who also didn't know what to do about them.) Mike made sure to check with us after the first treatment b/c they guarantee their work, and continued to have excellent communication with us throughout the process. Our infestation was so bad, b/c of years of the bugs colonizing that they came back again for 2 additional rounds free of charge. It's not like we're made of money, and it's a hard pill to swallow, but it had to be done and I can't imagine it going any better or in a more timely fashion than this team. I called yesterday afternoon when we discovered the pump was no longer pumping. They were out here before the end of day and troubleshot the problem. They were back first thing this morning with all the tools and equipment they could need and had the replacement project wrapped up shortly after lunch. Our pump is running, tank filling, I'll be able to do the dishes and take a shower before dinnertime. The crew, from office staff to the two young men who came out to do the work, were friendly, professional, and understood that no pump means no water, an issue not only for rural residents, but all the animals we support out here.
