We so wanted this place to be good. It's an easy access location, nice size bar, and a menu full of pub food. And there is where everything goes downhill. Chicken cheesesteak - neither meat nor peppers & onions were seasoned! 2 SLICES of provolone cheese melted on top under the salamander or in the microwave. Frozen waffle cut fries. I wouldn't mind paying almost $9 for a lunch plate if it was something I couldn't whip up at home. Chicken quesadilla tasted like melted cheese and not-seasoned chicken. Not even like there was salt or pepper on it. Also, it seems like the bartender who was working that day is a Mary Kay or Arbonne or some other direct sales cosmetics consultant - she was speaking with an (obviously) regular customer about something he purchased for his wife and I heard all about her color matching appointments and inventory. This is by far one of the best pubs I have been to. I was taken here by a guy friend who frequents the bar and the staff was friendly, learning my name and talking with me. I dont typically drink if I have to drive home as I am a lightweight. The staff didnt try to push me to try drinks instead they kept the sweet tea flowing which was probably the best sweet tea Ive had since moving down south. The atmosphere was not off putting to women despite the sports and man cave feel to the place. It was very clean and open. I liked the fact that part of the restuarant was carpeted which made it a lot easier to walk through the bar in heels. The bar stools were also good for a shorter person which I loved. The only pitfall for the bar was there were no hooks for your purse. I mean I carry one but it would have been nice to not have to set my purse on the bar which was remarkably clean. The bathrooms were also extremely clean which in my book is a major . I will leave most places if the restrooms arent clean. The outdoor seating area was amazing. Its a great place to talk and enjoy the balmy summer air. Its gated but the gate remains open so its really easy to meet people as they wander through. The staff even came out and sat with us for a bit which I havent seen in any pub Ive been to. I didnt try the food but it seems like typical bar food. They did have some sport themed arcade games which was cute but they need some old school arcade games like pacman. Overall this is a great place to meet up with friends or have a date night. I live around the corner and this is the closest bar to my home. The food is good and the beer on tap is good enough to keep the beer fans happy. The one complaint I have is the timelines of the kitchen. The wait can be longer than expected. The last time I was in I ended up walking out on my order after paying for it and tipping 20%. After waiting 45 minutes for a burger and a hamburger patty for my dog, I had to leave to go give the pooch hIs medication. Kitchen is slow enough to make you walk out even after paying for your food. Abbey Road is my new bar. read more

Seriously?! An upcharge to pay by credit card? I can't say I've ever been to a restaurant that does that until now. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. The service was slow despite it not being crowded. There's no kids menu (in case you're considering going as a family). We went to Brewster's once and will definitely go back. Brewsters is a typical sports pub with good food and a decent beer selection. I had the Brewster Bomber burger that was great. They have some other interesting burgers and sandwiches that I will go back and try. They were not real busy when we stopped in and the bartender was waiting tables as well as tending bar. Great burgers, great staff. This is a classic American pub, with waiters and bartenders that know your name and at least half of all of the customers that come in the door. Other than a good drink and great burgers that are recognized locally as some of the best, there is a pool table, shuffle board and a dart board to keep the fun times coming. I'm not much for sports bars which this place definitely leans towards in it's vibe I think it's great they have live music regularly. I was apart of a group order today (total of 5 orders) placed over the phone for curbside pickup. I was the designated person in this group to pick up all 5 orders. When order was placed, employee was told that they were all separate orders. So when I got to the restaurant to pickup, an employee who said his name was Leno, gave me all 5 cards back after he ran them inside and brought me 5 receipts to sign. I signed them all and put the total of each of the orders without tip. Leno walked towards the door to go back into the restaurant and said hmmm thanks for the tips...I said excuse me? That was really rude, do you say that to all your customers? He replied "only the ones who don't tip." I said wow so was I supposed to add tip amounts for everyone else's card without their permission? And he said and I quote, "maybe your cheap ass group should have discussed this before you came to pick up the food." At this point I was kinda speechless hearing this from a business who only keeps its doors open because of the customers that give them business. The exchange over no tips kept going between him and I and he was clearly angry and taking it out on me. He made several other comments and used other vulgarities including telling me to get off his property that it was private property, and when I told him no I am a paying customer, he swore again and told me to leave and that he didn't need our business. I'm sure Brewster's Pub doesn't need the business of 5 people, but guess what, word of mouth spreads and this is the age of social media so all I'm doing is telling what happened. How can an employee get that angry at a paying customer (5) to be exact because we didn't tip. What exactly are we tipping? We weren't inside the restaurant, we didn't order drinks, you didn't serve us, you wanted us to tip you for doing YOU'RE JOB? You literally get paid to do what you did and I told him that. I said you get an hourly wage correct? He responded that he makes $2 and some change an hour and that he was working off of tips...If your angry because your working off of tips during a pandemic, and your not actually making any money because people aren't going inside of the restaurant for you to wait on, them it's time to get another job. The employee definitely doesn't know the first thing about customer service! read more

I found a hair on my plate. It was too short to be my hair. The bartender was also irresponsible. You shouldn't be serving a guy who said he has to go to work. When someone's eyes are all slitty, it means they are already beyond wasted. She decided to keep giving him drinks once she realized he wasn't driving. That's not the right thing to do. We have been to Brewster's Pub several times and have had a great experience every time. The staff is so friendly and the food is great; my husband especially loves the Brewster's Bomb burger! The trivia is a lot of fun and actually has questions that you can answer! There is plenty of room and the chairs are actually comfortable if you plan to come and stay awhile. Brewster's is a favorite place for Friday night with friends. The place is spacious and well kept. There are dart boards on one side of the U-shaped bar and a shuffleboard table on the other. The menu is very good bar food with a good selection of beers ranging from commercial brews (Bud and the like) to some really good local and regional micro-brews of which Apex's BruePrint EdinBru is a favorite. The staff and bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly and service is quick but not pushy. If the place is not overly crowded on Friday evenings, our regular group will spend two hours at Brewster's and never feel pressured to leave. If there is a crowd, we shorten the visit in order to free up space but, again, never feel rushed. read more

This place...I tell ya. We were scheduled to go to a paint nite on 02/02/2015 at 7pm. We arrived pretty early so we could eat there before we started to paint. The bartender was charismatic and full of energy that beamed off of him. We all handed our I.D's and he noticed that my 21st birthday was last month. Not expecting much of anything from the information that he received, he handed my drink to me and said "This one is on the house from Brewsters! Happy late Birthday!" I gladly accepted the drink and proceeded to place my order. I ordered the Chef Salad with no croutons. The order came out quickly and tasted delicious. When we went about painting our cherry blossom trees, both bartenders were tentative to everyone's needs. At the bar and at the tables. Orders flew out of the kitchen, and the vibe of the bar was upbeat. At the end of our session, we all walked over to the bar to pay our tabs. As the gentleman had stated, my drink was on the house; it came out to $14 total. I wanted to give him a little more than 15% and tipped $4. This morning, when I checked my bank statement, I was shocked to not see $18 but, $15.40. He only took $1.40 of the $4 that he rightfully deserved. I will be returning to the bar to not only give him the money he deserves but, to once again enjoy the food and atmosphere that they provide. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND VISITING!!! read more

I'm not a "bar" person, so I typically only visit Brewsters for lunch. They're rarely ever crowded, so it's easy to get in and out relatively quickly. The menu is simple - mostly typical bar fare, but done very well. Burgers and quesadillas are both really good here, as are specials when they have them. Several great beers on tap as well. The lunchtime servers, both weekday and weekend, are fun and friendly. Brewsters is a much-appreciated local favorite. read more

Awesome Pub is the first thing that comes to mind. Been here a few times in the evening after hockey games (Great beer special on hockey night) and noticed right away how clean the place was. I realize that they just opened, but the place is so clean you can't even see streaks in the table and bars where they wiped it down. The bathrooms are a immaculate, cleaner than some Cary's finest pubs. (I would feel safer eating in Brewsters rest room than the Upper Deck). The beer selection is outstanding as well. Finally stopped by for lunch, the Wings were delicious.. not your typical double fried industrial wings. These wings were juicy... far better than anything I've tasted in the area in some time. Brewsters is a great pub. It is spacious and offers plenty of room if your looking for somewhere to bring a group hang out or just watch games. There are plenty of TV's to satisfy everyones TV choices, the newest golden tee, and a spacious multi board dart area. You can listen to whatever type of music your wanting to hear thanks to the jukebox and can also get your pictures taken at the jukebox in a photo booth type app. The owners are great and so is the food. The chicken tenders tossed in chili sauce are amazing. There are about five sauces and dressings to choose from and they appear to be hand crafted. The dressings are great. Any drink we have ever tried is top notch and the bartenders make creative suggestions. They are so helpful. It is perfect for a large party, girls night out, solo bite, family dinner or to watch a game. Jukebox, darts, patio, plenty of space to hang out. You never feel rushed. And again, the service? How I miss coming out to this fun spot! Though it is hard to see from the road, you really need to try it out. (Just look over from Lake Pine to that shopping center next to the Mexi joint!) The open floor plan with tons of seating for big parties or small, and the huge bar in the middle of everything make this spot really charming. Tv's on for sports, darts and a pool table, games all around. It's family friendly yet a bar vibe. The food is great too. Definitely should go on by. The outside seating in the wonderful weather is so relaxing. Would recommend a draft beer and the build your own mac-n-cheese! read more
