After listening their verdict with unreasonable prices and amount of work they want to do, I decided to get a second opinion. Sure enough whatever they told me wasn't accurate at all. Yet I couldn't start my dental work with my second doctor because Family Dental already billed my insurance for the completed work, even though I was there only once. While my insurance investigate Family Dental for a fraudulent claim, and after four month, I still wait for my deposit, one should seek a dental care with honest and professional dental practice. Definitely will not recommend this place to anybody.

They have some of the cleanest dental equipment I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to make sure they only use the best for their patients. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.

A kind, compassionate woman answered the phone and immediately made me feel at ease, like I was more than just a patient, but a person who mattered. That feeling continued with my first visit. Meeting my dentist, Dr. Cafarelli, and his assistant was truly life-changing. It has taken me a lifetime to find a dentist like this--a man who is not only highly skilled and professional, but who also radiates kindness, patience, and genuine care. He is, without exaggeration, an angel in his field. The entire experience, from the front desk to the dental chair, was marked by warmth, understanding, and respect. I finally feel safe and confident in my dental care, and I am so grateful to have found this amazing team. If you're looking for a dental office where you'll be treated with empathy, dignity, and excellence, this is the place. I can't recommend them enough.

The relentless pursuit to take an unnecessary x-ray was unreal to me... I said No too many times…read moreto let it slide. This is no way to treat people. The bottom line is that it was unnecessary, even according to The AMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION. Look it up, and you'll see that an adult with good oral health and low risk of dental problems should have x-rays taken 24 to 36 months. Realize even though it probably won't give you cancer... why the extra risk... I just told the people there I Just had them taken 4 months ago, and they were fine... Also, they are supposed to do an oral exam first to access if an x-ray is even needed. they skipped this step, and I believe that breaks the ethical guidelines; which obviously are to use the least possible amount of x-ray exposure necessary. But they didn't even mention till I was about to leave, that I can have my x-ray sent over from a few months ago; as if it was a final ditch option. I believe the x-ray on file was from within a 3-year period but they should have done their homework before calling me in for a teeth cleaning and then telling me they can't clean my teeth without an X-ray. SMH. And they really did try everything to pressure me into the Xray. At one point 3 people are there telling me all sorts of feer bait (nonrealistic things to say to someone who has had "no cavities ever") to make me think it was a good idea. And nothing they said made sense because I kept telling her I just had it done not long ago (which i did), so I'm not scared. Too many people don't make good calls and walk in like sheep, and they got used to nobody knowing about how they are supposed to do their job. Don't be stupid, don't take xrays you don't need. But also don't skip it when you do need it. These people gotta quit being greedy. What really got me was how at the beginning of the conversation I was allowed to sign a waiver to not get x rays but suddenly, with the form in the office lady's hand; she says the doctor refuses to see me unless I take X-rays. They basically thought I was soft or possibly already processed paperwork. Something felt like I was being targeted like "Watch me work the Xray on him" attitude. I even said to them it feels like its only about the money.

So to me it seems like the office wants to go get their deals shopping then be at work. Why schedule an appointment 6 months out if you're just going to cancel last minute? Why work at all if providers aren't going to be there at all? This is about the 5th time i'm getting an appointment for my kids cancelled and i'm utterly sick of dealing with all these doctors and dentists changing appointments. Do better please.

My family has been going to Kids Family Dental for years and we made excuses for the practice for…read moreway too long and finally decided, after my son's horrible experience today, to cut ties. I'll start off with the good but temper it. Dr. DeBiase is a great pediatric dentist but I think he's no longer with the practice. Now for the bad, which is a lot. A few months back, my family had to reschedule an appointment for one of our children and could never get through to the office. Even during normal business hours, the after hours call service was picking up the phone and taking a message for us. We must have called every day for a week before we got fed up and just went into the office to reschedule in person. When we told the receptionist of our issues contacting them, she didn't seem concerned at all and never issued an apology that we had to physically come in to reschedule. My most recent gripe involves an appointment for a cleaning my son had today. He is six but a model dental patient. He was smiling and excited to go and have his teeth cleaned! That didn't last long though. After x-rays, my wife was informed by a new dentist we hadn't had before and isn't listed on the practice's website that crowns would be needed on a couple back teeth since they had progressed further than fillings would allow. Although unfortunate, we figured it wouldn't be so bad because he'd had crowns before with Dr. DeBiase and done great. The dentist's bedside manner wasn't typical of a pediatric dentist and more resembled an adult dentist without all the friendliness and explanation of what's going to happen as the procedure goes on that a pediatric dentist needs to calm kids down during such invasive procedures. During the procedure, the dentist used a suction device unlike a standard suction tube. This device included a plastic guard to apparently prevent water and saliva from collecting in the back of a child's throat. The amount of plastic and other material from this device in the back of his mouth caused my son to freak out and start to scream and cry, something he has never done during a dental procedure before. At one point, my wife noticed blood being cleaned up and the hygienist apparently trying to hide the clean up. My son only got through one of the crowns needed and didn't even get through his cleaning or sealant application, which were the original reasons we had today's appointment, before we had to stop the procedure. I have no idea why the cleaning didn't happen first as I've traditionally experienced in an adult practice but now I'm forced to book another appointment to actually conduct the cleaning that was supposed to happen today as well as complete the crown that wasn't finished. We probably should have left Kids Family Dental awhile ago and stuck with them out of familiarity but today was the last straw. They turned a child who was eager to go to the dentist into one who I might have struggles getting to go ever again!
