Muffin was delish, a nice balance of dark chocolate and a pocket of cream cheese. A large is 3.50 taxes in which i think is very good value for the money. Coffee order: Ordered 2 milk 1 sweetner got 2 milk 1 sweetner Ordered 2 milk 2 sweetner got black no sweetner Although mistakes can happen "sometimes" the thing that really turned me from this place was the terrible service when confronted with the mistake. After the server replaced my coffee with a fresh correctly made one, after I returned to my car I noticed he and her colleagues making fun of the fact that I returned the coffee and doing impressions of me put the coffee on the counter. I'm very disappointed in this extremely unprofessional behaviour at this Tim Horton's location. One positive note though, they at least labelled the coffee lids correctly. A clean house and more training needed here I think.

Going to one of the fancier places in town while in this condition was less than ideal for a person who thinks everyone is always critical of everyone else. I have to admit I was wrong though. Waking up one Sunday morning & tired of the standard sub-par breakfast fare in Corner Brook, I threw caution to the wind & went to the Carriage Room for breakfast. While I wasn't looking my Sunday best, it was completely fine as the restaurant didn't have that uppity environment that I envisioned. Plenty of people had seemingly wandered down from their rooms in whatever garb they arbitrarily chose, and no one seemed to care. Now I should say that not everyone was dressed like a slob, I'm only saying that you can go to the Carriage Room relaxed, instead of struggling to breathe with your button-up done all the way to the top. Outside of the restaurant environment, the food was pretty good. My friend & I both had breakfast burritos which were adequate - nothing to write home about, but certainly nothing to complain about either; generally tasty. Lastly, the service was memorably good, as the waiter cracked appropriate jokes, checked on us several times & handled special requests with ease. I plan on returning.
