This place is so cute. They have a bar, cafe, little shop, and pottery painting area all in one large area. Plenty of tables of all sizes and shapes. I wish I was closer I'd be here regularly. I picked up food to go for lunch to take to the lake. I had a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap and it was phenomenal. I love the big chunks of chicken. We also got a pretzel and beer cheese. So good. A great spot for a bite in Celina! Our group of 5 adults and 4 toddlers and were easily able to be accommodated on a Saturday night. We sat out on the patio which was really pretty with tons of flowers but unfortunately there were TONS of bees! The beer list at Brew Nation is great and offers something to everyone's taste. We ordered dinner as well- there are a few options for kids which was great for our crew. It's counter service so we ordered and brought our numbers outside to our tables. I've been to Brew Nation twice now and I think it's in a great area right on Main Street Celina. There is free street parking and upon entering you'll notice a large area with quirky decor. Both times we've sat at the bar, where we are able to get direct food and bar service, however if you sit anywhere else you need to place both food and drink orders at separate areas of the restaurant. They have a rotating draft list featuring some Rat Lake home brews, local Ohio beers, and domestic. They also serve creative cocktails and wine. Unfortunately at both visits we encountered the same bartender and he wasn't the most welcoming and we definitely seemed to inconvenience him. It wasn't the most comfortable setting for both visits. I'm unsure we will make another trip back to Brew Nation, but rather visit some of the other great offerings in Celina. read more

Great local craft beer place in Celina which doubles as a restaurant (when open) and a cafe! Renovations were underway and folks were open for take out. Beautiful interior. They are about to open the out door area for dining customers. If you Yelp "Check in" there is an offer for 1$ off the smoked wings. We declined. However, the wood fired pizza looked delicious. Too bad I did not order ahead. Much of the Lake Rat Beer was out but they had a DIPA New England style called Oh My My which we took a 6 pack home. I was in earlier in the day for coffee. It was pretty good. This time it was time for beer. It has lots of good selections on tap. They have some from Lake Rat, which is right next to this. I ordered the Lake Rat Brew Juice. This is about $5 for a pint. It's not too strong of a beer, pretty light. This was not all that hoppy, and it was pretty smooth. It also has some food. This is a great neighborhood spot for pizza, beer, wine, coffee and desserts. They're open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, but run a limited menu of appetizers and pizza after 8pm. They stop serving coffee around the same time. Pizza is probably your best option here, and they do a great job of it. Their pizza is baked in a wood fired oven, and they have delicious combinations of ingredients, some more unusual than others. We've been happy with every pizza we've tried here. On a recent visit we had the SWISS MOUNTAIN GOAT, a goat cheese pizza with an olive oil base instead of marinara, and it hit the spot. Live music is a common occurrence here, so check their schedule. It's usually on Friday and Saturday starting around 8 or 9pm, and it's always free. Be warned, it can get loud. We come here most often for coffee, because it is one of the best options in the area for Americanos and Lattes. There is a pass through to LAKE RAT BREWING, a local brewery with plentiful seating and a shuffleboard table for when you get competitive. This place is so great! They offer a variety of craft beers on tap in addition to delicious coffee drinks! We have stopped here three different times now, and it has not disappointed yet! When we went yesterday, we each tried different craft beers, and the kids all had unlimited refills on their sodas. We played foosball and shuffle board while we waited for our food, and that kept everyone happy! The smoked chicken nachos were dynamite, and I can't help but get the chicken salad every time! I love the grapes and the seasoning in their chicken salad! Even though so many other menu items look good, I order the chicken salad croissant every time and leave happy that I did! :) The tables are all spread far apart and we never feel crowded or rushed when we're at Brew Nation! I think the pizza is about average as far as price goes. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I think Bonnie was very pleasant. The atmosphere was neat. Exposed brick walls have it a trendy yet industrial feel. The open floor plan made the pace feel huge. I was passing through on a Saturday and there was only about 15 people there. It was one of the worst atmospheres I've ever seen. The bar tender didn't even acknowledge I was there. She was more concerned with her phone than her customers. The music was ok but nothing special. They now have an expanded coffee bar, local wine and beer, a sizable menu, and rumor is they are looking to start a brewery... Live entertainment is their specialty, and you can always find a great acoustic set on the weekends. The dining area is open and roomy, the aroma from the wood fire grill fills the air. We go for coffee on the weekend (standard, mocha, cappuccino, etc.) as well as a good selection of breakfast style items. Have now walked in 2x. Been totally Ignored 2x. Walked out and went someplace else 2x. It's not just a staffing issue but a serious design flaw as well. I've walked into a lot of restaurants in the past 50 years and I'm pretty sure this is the only place I've walked in to and had to walk to the back of the establishment to find an employee to greet me. It's very confusing as it looks like maybe your best bet at finding someone that works there is a bar along the wall. As my first visit was at lunch time with wife and kids, waking toward the bar for service was a red flag ("I don't think this place is gonna work") if memory serves we walked even further (this is a deep establishment) to more of a coffee bar. Still no one there. It was like 12:30pm. This is when my wife and I looked at each with questions of "are we suppose to be in here? Is this place even open?" We stood around for a few more minutes waiting for someone to kick us out or to greet us. Neither happened so we left. My return trip was solo a couple years later. Just a few months ago. I was excited. The logo. The name. The pics. Looked like I was gonna have a nice solo lunch. I pulled up and thought "waaait a minute. Feel like I've TRIED to eat here before." Same experience as before. This time I walked in just behind another couple that was as throughly confused as I about the process. There was a group of ladies eating and drinking at a table up front. The other couple interrupted them and asked if they had arrived after closing or what? The ladies instructed us to walk to the back and look for someone that worked there. We did. We failed. We all left. I'm totally sympathetic that through covid and even half into 2021 people paying under $15 per hour are dying for warm bodies and ecstatic to have employees that appear to give a damn. But when you walked into a restaurant at a prime lunch time and they lack visible staff and have little to no customers. Those are pretty big red flags. I'd recommend a simple door chime to alert the sole staff member napping in the back room, working in the kitchen, where ever they are to the fact that there is a potential customer to greet at the front of the building. read more

Come into what appeared to look like an FOP/Eagles/etc. lounge, alongside a plethora of Christmas decorations, among other home interior items for sale, in late January. The menu is absurdly random (e.g., coffee, pizza, BBQ?), none of which was particularly good. The service was decent, but I was waiting at the bar as the attendant was Facetiming a friend. They are trying to be a big-city place, but they need people working there who know what they're doing.
