Brew Baker's Coffee and Tea shop is a cute little place off of the main drag in Grass Valley. It's a be very chill cafe with some small seating inside. They serve a variety of coffee drinks and pasties. We ordered chai lattes, banana bread and a donut. All of these were delicious. The service was friendly and speedy. We throughly enjoyed our time at Brew Bakers. If you are in town, I recommend checking them out.

Stopped in early September 21st .see receipt. Love coming here early after running errands and swimming.. I had a latte and the 2 egg breakfast that sits on top spinach. Not too filling - just right and tasty! I like that the 2 eggs was just alittle over 5 bucks. They also make burritos and some yummy looking pastries! Chill vibe!

Solid coffee house! After reading the other reviews I went and asked for a "large cappuccino" just to give them a good laugh. We run a mobile coffee business, so seeing some of the reviews that said they were "disappointed" that they couldn't get a large cappuccino or that macchiato would be a small drink is frustrating. Starbucks has ruined the coffee experience for majority of people. Espresso drinks are made with specific ratios of milk to espresso so making something a "large" that's designed to be a 6 ounce drink, doesn't work unless you want to pay extra for extra shots. I wish people knew what they were ordering before giving a coffee house a 4/5 starts. *Sigh*. We got a brown honey/hazelnut latte and brown sugar cardamom latte. We make all our own syrups for our coffee trailer so we're bougie. I like the sweetness of the honey/hazelnut but couldn't really taste the hazelnut. The cardamom latte had an interesting savory component that I wasn't a super fan of, but overall, good coffee!

Yum!!' They have organic maple syrup!!!

First time visit is very positive. Two nice people to help with selection . Welcoming vibe in this store with store. Wood floors with good seating options inside. Some benches outside available for nice days like today. Consistently busy with foot traffic visitors but easy pace. Books available, wooden floors, interesting artwork. Makes for a good place to hang out. Nice location on a Main Street with other store attractions as well.

Cozy and cute little coffee shop in historic Grass Valley. I've had it a couple different time,me, and enjoyed the lattes both times. Street parking. Service is pleasant.

Complete perfection!

After one day of sub-par coffee at the hotel breakfast buffet down the street, Brew Bakers felt like an oasis! This cappuccino was simply magnificent: perfect balance of flavor, foam, and decoration. And the vibe is exactly what you want for a morning respite and pick-me-up. Grazie!

Nice guy at the counter was happy & helpful. If you seek a more gourmet pastry, go to the Baker and the Cakemaker on Lincoln Way in town.

Ooooh Lord! Did I just die and go to heaven? How gorgeous is it in here!?…read more First off, I pulled in to the parking lot in front of Dunk 'n' Run Donuts and the woman working inside was smiling at me before I even got out of my car. I walked in at about 12:30 today. As I walked in, the showcase was about half full. I mean, 12:30 is kind of late to come and get donuts, however, there was still plenty of goodies for me!! After talking with Laura, I couldn't decide what I was going to get...Iwas actually here for just a couple of fashions, but after seeing the other options... how beautiful they were. They got me. Dunk 'n' Run Donuts reeled me in! So, how am I supposed to pick just a couple of old fashions? These donuts were sparkling at me! They had a beautiful glossiness to them. They were colorful! Vibrant! My eyes were absolutely eating first. The person that decorated them has major culinary skills... these were almost too pretty to eat! Ok, ok! We're talkin Creme Brule! Dubai! PB&J! Banana cream, Kinder's... and yes! I also got my family's favorite, the old fashion donut. The price for a dozen? $20.75, PLUS... extra for the gorgeous filled donuts. A whopping $42+ for this dozen donuts was quite the shock... is that the norm? Laura is so sweet and very fun to talk to. I hope I run into her again! Maybe next time, I will have a seat inside and order a cup of coffee with my donut. Let's dive into what I thought... Dubai Donut I like that they are keeping up with the trendy Dubai chocolate that's poppin all over. This one was filled with real pistachio cream!!! The top is dipped in dark chocolate.. thick chocolate, drizzled with green, and dusted with crumbs. It was so decadent. Creamy... sinful. It was not too sweet and then it was fudge and buttery at the same time. PB&J Peanut butter on top, with a dollop of white frosting and jam, filled with strawberry jam. This one was very sweet. After this one, I could've been done. Creme Brule This one has a dark caramelized color with a crispy top with a single raspberry, it has a cream filled center.. was it vanilla bean? It was soft, creamy, and crunchy all at the same time. I'm in the middle in this one. Kinder's This was a playful donut. Chocolaty top with a couple of Kinders crunchy pieces. The inside was filled with Nutella. This one is very sweet and if you love Nutella, this is the donut for you! Banana Cream It had creamy frosting in top with a banana chip and nilla waffer, with the tiniest mint leaf. The center was like banana cream.. maybe made with a banana liqueur? This one was so good! I loved the touch of the mint with banana flavor... but I'm not a banana chip fan. The old fashion donuts were perfectly delicious. They are simple compared to the donuts I described above, but sometimes, simple is better. These have a shiny chocolate, with crispy jagged edges. To me, they have the perfect frosting to donut ratio. Overall, I really enjoyed the dozen donuts I bought at Dunk 'n' Run. Out of the new ones I tried, I would have to say the Dubai Donut was a 10/10. I felt like the customer service was above and beyond. Laura is very sweet and fun to talk to. Was it worth a whopping price of $42+? Yes. The real pistachio cream is a hit. This isn't your average donut at some donut shop. I call these a masterpiece created by the finest food stylist that needs to be featured in a magazine. See you guys again, soon!!

The shop is located just outside of Quincy in a strip mall. We pulled in and found the selection to be fairly sparse at 9am and the donuts looked darker than I'm used to and a bit dry. The kids scored a chocolate iced long john and a chocolate iced old fashioned, and I added on a glazed twist and a raspberry jelly, and the total was around 8 bucks. I went to pay and they tacked on a .50 charge for a credit card. This practice always upsets me as a consumer and I wish they'd just charge what's necessary to do business. I had cash and used that instead to avoid it. The service, from what I can only guess are the owners, wasn't very warm or friendly, and that was a bit disheartening too. I'm used to small towns having such warm and wonderful people, and this just wasn't the case. The place was clean with a few tables to sit, so we stayed and ate there. I noticed they also had coffee, though it smelled a bit stale, and they also sell boba too. It was a nice donuts with dad morning. The twist was enjoyed later as well ;) but all in all I had hoped for more here.

I used to love coming here as it is the closest donut shop to my residence. However, that was…read morebefore it was sold to a business owner who has employed their family in customer service positions and has no desire nor ability to coach their employees to provide better service. The gentleman who is always there seems intoxicated and has no business working in customer service. He says strange things and is extremely forgetful - in fact, the same day I stopped coming here, a man with his family had a confrontation with him. The worker's behavior always very off - not a personality thing, but appears to be a sobriety issue. In the aforementioned man's confrontation, the worker forgot multiple items and wouldn't make it right until the man brought it up, showed his receipt, and made the worker calculate the items which were bought - after the worker gave the man what he was owed, the worker failed to acknowledge their mistake and simply looked at the man with a blank stare. I had a similar issue and called the manager, who wasn't even on site. However, I didn't notice I was missing items until I drove home. The manager wouldn't even say "sorry about that" they simply said they would talk to the staff and that I should go back to pick up the items THEY failed to provide. I went back, and the same gentleman with the inconsistent, non-sober appearing behavior said he didn't hear anything from his manager and I had to call the manager AGAIN. If it isn't the poor behavior from the dude working there, the chick in the back with the sour attitude also fails every box of customer service. I'll never return. This was a great place when the original owner was running the show, now it's just bad.
