I never met Dr. Berman. We had two very rushed phone visits. During the first call, I explained why I had been referred to cardiology. He ordered several tests, all performed in his office by techs. I was anxious to hear the results of all those tests, but he called me and just said everything "looked fine", and to continue the medicine I had been on for years. Two days later, I had a severe angina attack, and about a week later, I had a TIA that got me admitted to the hospital. The hospitalist was somewhat confused to hear what medication I was on, and immediately switched me to three other meds.
Dr. Berman's office reminded me of a factory, or one of those dental clinics that give you 65 x-rays and then say you need a bunch of expensive work.
The staff was all very friendly. read more
