I came here for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and was impressed with the quality and price as compared to salons in Hendersonville. Katie took her time with me and we had great conversation. Although it didn't feel rushed at all, she worked very quickly and efficiently. The selection of polish was really good and Katie even helped me pick similar gel colors when I accidentally picked dip colors. Overall, great service, easy appointment scheduling and quality service. I'd definitely recommend this nail salon to a friend! read more

breTH Nail Bar - Gel mani in OPI- My Vampire is Buff - Nail Salons Near Me - Gallatin, Tennessee

The staff is very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional towards clients. The staff could really use a course in customer service. I will not waste my time or money in this establishment ever again. There are too many good salons out there. And on top of that, the nails started falling off in less than 24 hours! read more

breTH Nail Bar - Nail Salons Near Me - Gallatin, Tennessee

Gals who live in Gallatin know the area is really lacking a quality nail salon. I had been unable to find one that truly met my standards. All I ever get is a regular pedicure and a gel manicure, nothing fancy. Here are the things I look for in a nail salon: location, décor, atmosphere/ vibe, cleanliness, customer service, nail tech skill/ demeanor, polish quality, & price. Breth is conveniently located in a new shopping center on Gallatin Pke (next to the Sapporo) with plenty of parking. I walked in a few weeks ago on a Thurs. early afternoon. At that time, they had only been in business a little over a month. There was no wait. I was immediately greeted by who I later discovered is the co-owner, and she graciously offered to get me a drink. Since this was my 1st visit, I decided to just get a gel mani and come back for the pedi if all went well. I chose a color and was led to the nail tech's chair. I was never shown a price menu of services & didn't see pricing posted. The décor is stunning, classy, & trendy. Although the shop small, they made great use of the space. It has blinged out chandeliers for days (I counted 7). They have really plush & comfy royal purple chairs to sit in, which are kind of low to the ground (I'm a tall woman), but cute enough to where I didn't mind it. I could see that the pedicure chairs had outlets to charge your device built into the chair. There were steps on each side that led up to the chair, & the chairs looked big & comfy. There are no TV's, but they had nice music playing the entire time. The location, décor, vibe/ atmosphere, & customer service all got 5 stars from me. Next is the shop cleanliness.....although I wouldn't advise it, you could probably eat off the floor. While I was getting my mani, I noticed the owner constantly sweeping, wiping, & straightening. I was impressed that she even sprayed & wiped down the pedi chairs and basin. I've never seen an employee in a nail salon ever spray & wipe down the actual pedi chairs. I've seen basins cleaned but not chairs. So, it was refreshing to see that level of cleanliness. I was also impressed that they used brand new utensils from an unopened package. For some reason, other nail shops in Gallatin I visited acted as if using new utensils was unheard of. At Breth, I'm glad they understood the importance of doing so. They got 5 stars from me on cleanliness. The nail tech was friendly, efficient with my time, & gentle. I can't recall her name, but we talked about our families, the Gallatin area, & our hometowns (she was from another country). She was fluent in English, & seemed to take pride in her work. However, I was not offered a hot towel as a part of my manicure. However, without being shown a price list, I'm not sure if a hot towel was part of the deal or not. Typically, with any legit manicure I've ever gotten, a hot towel was a part of it. So, here's where things start to get a little disappointing. I'm not sure if they use lower quality materials or if this falls under the skill of the nail tech, but my gel started peeling.......drumroll please.....on the 3rd day. What a fail. I could've cried. After spending over $60 (with tip) for a gel manicure, it didn't even last a week. By the 4th day, they were chipping & peeling so badly it looked like I had them on for weeks. I hadn't done anything strenuous to cause this & don't have the extra time to go in for repairs. I've had less expensive gel mani's that lasted for weeks that even endured the test of traveling overseas without as much as a chip. I really wanted to love this place & didn't initially mind the price. But no one wants to waste money, & if my gel doesn't last then I have no choice but to keep searching for a nail shop to call home. read more

The best nail salon in Gallatin. Vin is amazing! The salon is beautiful. They take their time and the products they use are durable and stay on for up to a month. Well worth the money! read more

My husband could have done a better job then this! Do not go in as a walk in because the service will be terrible. They didn't ask if I wanted a drink and 10 minutes after I sat down a lady with appt sat down next to me and they asked her before she even sat down. GO somewhere else people. read more

I've been debating writing a review for a while but I feel those nail gals out there just need to know. I gave this salon COUNTLESS tries over and over again. The last two times I made appointments I showed up and was magically not on the books. The first time the nail artist was out that day and they just flat out didn't tell. I'm talking no call no contact. The second time i had an appointment scheduled, I walked in I just wasn't on the books at all after I had called a week previously. I was told they'd fit me in but after soaking my nails for over an hour I was asked if I could wait another hour. I was there for 4 hours and then got rushed and my nails chipped a week later. I will say everyone there has been very nice to me but the establishment is very unprofessional. I do not recommend. Ladies, go get your nails done elsewhere. read more

Despite previous rough reviews when they first opened on this place, it has turned around and is the BEST in Gallatin. I'll never go anywhere else... come here with all your crazy art and pinterest ideas and they will make it Happen. Price is completely normal for nails and toes and aesthetics. Warranty of 2 weeks on anything you have done. Kim Liles (owner) and Tina P (manager) will always take the best care of you and you will always get exactly what you want. Check them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Terrible Acrylic fill done by a guy sits in back row of salon on March 28th 2021. Charged $33.00. I needed nails cut down and slight fill. Not too much work to be done on my nails. Got done and expected for such a high priced salon, that, at least i would get my hands rubbed with cream and a slight hand massage. He used sparkle powder, which I did not have on my nails prior. So, It didn't match. He used Gel top coat, and, I thought he would trim my cuticles. NOPE. He painted over the cuticles.!!! A big fat NOTHING for nail service. read more

One week and my nail already broke from doing absolutely nothing. I was willing to let go of the fact that the paint job wasn't stellar but having it break long before I even need a fill just flat out sucks. And all of this for $60...for just a standard acrylic full set. Not even a manicure to push down cuticle beforehand. Not going to be coming back. I can get way more and a far better job for less elsewhere. Such a shame too because this was much closer to home. read more

This has become my go-to salon. I had a peeling problem a few days after a gel polish change, and the salon owner made it right....got a new color and was on my way. Beautiful interior. Great customer service = a happy customer who will return again and again.. read more

Was looking for a new nail salon and breTH is it! Vinh is an excellent manicurist. She did a fabulous job, on fixing one of my nails, that has been damaged for years and now it looks as natural as my other nails. The shop is is beautiful and I highly recommend a pedicure, while your there, because their massage chairs are like no other. They are the top of the line, nail/pedicure business. THANK YOU Vinh, for making my nails look fantastic. I was so impressed with their service and facilities, that I booked my next appointment before leaving and added a facial to it. read more

The salon is clean and beautifully decorated. There are the positives. I will not be returning (and I am a long time customer) of one of the nail techs. Workmanship and products have been inconsistent. Professionalism lacking from the front desk to the technician. Difficulty getting appointments, lack of customer service - when a nail broke after less than 24 hours of getting done - there was no availability or willingness to adjust a schedule, stay late, anything, to fix a problem that has a guarantee on it. Pedicure chairs are also beautiful but super uncomfortable. Pricing is somewhat normal - if you were getting quality products and care. read more

This place is the most immature and awful services I have ever encountered. The owner is a plastic piece of crap and was the rudest person. The nails I got chipped in the next 2 hours when I am not that heavy on my hands. The pedicure made me have an allergic reaction when I told them that certain ingredients in products would effect me. I did not get a refund and the nail lady kept talking shit about how I looked right in front of me. read more

This shop was such a wonderful experience. Vinh is an excellent manicurist. Very thorough and particular. I would highly recommend her. The shop is very, very clean. It's beautiful and very well out together. State of the art processes and equipment. A real jewel!! read more

Look elsewhere for your next pedicure. Service started 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment and the tech was rough when pushing my cuticles (I shouldn't have to say "ouch!" more than once). The pedicure chairs are not comfortable, but luckily this was the fastest pedicure ever, clocking in at just 25 minutes. Unfortunately this establishment is not worth the money, while it does look pretty. read more

I paid over $60 to get my nails done a little over 24 hours ago. This picture is what my thumb nail looks like now...when I stopped by to see about getting it fixed I was told there was no guarantee that I would be seen and the one person who was doing nails was too busy. I could wait and hour to see...hmmm... I didn't have the time to wait around when I wasn't given any firm answer. To make matters worse I chose for my accent nail a look from the of pictures and it was nothing like them when completed. Sad. read more

me and my friend went for a girls day and we got the guy in the back row which has bad reviews already. he didn't use fresh acrylic like i asked he just used the leftovers that were on 3 of my nails that were a different shape than i wanted. the shaping is absolutely awful, the staff was rude, there's gel paint left on my nails, and they're all different lengths. as for my friend she wanted french with orange tip her nail shape isn't awful but the lines in her nails are all different sizes and absolutely awful. i could do better than he did. i would not recommend AT ALL read more

Decided to try something new with my mom and remembered this place. It's gorgeous inside and so clean. It's beautifully decorated and makes you feel like a queen walking in; however I have a problem with a place being so pretty and some of the staff looking like they just rolled out of bed. We need a dress code people! The girl that did my nails was friendly but got on her phone twice as did the girl doing my moms nails. The girl that did my moms nails had zero personality and only talked when she had an opinion opposite of everyone else's. My girl can do some amazing nail art so I asked for flowers, not exactly what I imagined but it's pretty. My gel looks nice and smooth and shiny, not the neatest I've ever had but I do t remember the last time I had perfect nails. Also they were not organized, couldn't find anything, had to wait for them to stock their supplies as they ran out.It is staying on beautifully and so is moms. I hope they read their reviews and make some changes or they will not last long. Also you can get real diamonds in your nails here! read more

Best manicure & pedicure ever! Katie is THE best. I haven't had good experiences in the past with pedicures, with people being too rough. But Katie was very gentle and patient and did an excellent job on both my pedicure and manicure. The salon is extremely clean, very well decorated. All the staff were very friendly. This is my new favorite place! read more

This place is gorgeous on the inside, clean, and easy to set up an appointment at or so I thought... I asked to set up an appointment for the earliest they had I was told noon was the first open time. I showed up to my appointment at 11:30. I was the first customer today( they open at 10:00). When i walked in it looked and felt like I was an inconvenience to every employee. The nail techs were still setting up their stations and complaining out loud that they weren't ready to see customers. So please tell me what anyone in that place does between 10:00-11:30? ....I spent over 3 hours in the place getting a pink/white ombré and a pedicure. At the price I paid for a pedicure ($45) I could have went down the street and gotten one that didn't look like it was done by a four year old. My pink/white ombré was painful, it took forever, and has a bunch of spots where the nails were not dry before I was rushed out. Even after voicing my concerns about the services I got, there was no discount given or even a sorry. To top it off, I overheard the owners husband tell my nail tech to rush my nails and also to use cold water on anyone else who came in and asked for a pedicure. Due to the hot water heater not being able to keep up with the demands. Also the owners husband over books his nail techs which leads to longer wait times, walk outs, and poor service. I was excited to try this place after finding it on instagram. My nail tech I think had the skills to do a beyond amazing job, but being rushed and micromanaged she came up short. I wanted to love this place, but after the services today which were $90 plus a $20 tip even after the ordeal. I will not be returning and recommend everyone avoid this place unless you have an entire day to waste for mediocre nails. read more

Walked in for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the glitzy decor & polish choices. I asked if they could do a pedicure & they said sure. Their pedicure prices start at $45 and go up to $70. I chose the cheapest option. A lady took me back & I sat down at the chair/bench & was told they made a mistake and someone else was ahead of me. No problem, I'll just sit here. Said it'd be about 15 minutes. Manager/owner asked me if I wanted to soak my feet while I wait, I said sure, however that never happened. I listened to 2 employees complain how long their day was & one finished her customer & left the room. 15 minutes later the manager/owner asks if I have an errand to run because a 4pm appointment came in. I asked if it was going to take a lot longer she said yes & apologized. I went ahead & left and based on how they handled this situation, I will not return. I hope they can learn quickly how to handle their schedule & customers. Employees complaining about their long busy day doesn't make the customer feel good about being there. read more

Kinda disappointed... I've been here a couple of times and the service is always hit or miss. Today it was definitely a miss. Came with my friend and we were excited that the "volcano pedicure" was on special. We were asked twice which pedicure we wanted and we responded twice with the volcano pedicure.. We both received the basic. I was so caught up with talking to my friend, I didn't realize that we didn't receive the correct pedicure until our technicians had already drained the water and were rubbing our feet with lotion. So that was definitely a bummer. Also, we never got asked if we wanted something to drink. Not a huge deal, but of course would have been nice. When I got home, I put callus remover on my feet and scrubbed away some more dry skin. Definitely irritating that I had to do more work on my feet as soon as I got home, and didn't even get the specific pedicure I booked for. read more

My nail tech is in Nashville and I did not feel like driving down there. A friend had told me about this spot and I said I would try it out. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, I loved her. I had three different ladies work on me because one did not know how to do "coffin shaped nails". The co-owner had to show her... ok, no problem. Well, I kept telling her how to shape them so the co-owner then had to shape them and I had to wait on her(which she shaped them so fast some were crooked). When I went back to my nail tech, I got another lady because my first nail tech was put on someone else. My new tech half done my acrylic. I kept telling her I needed more on the sides (it looked as if i already needed a fill in). She fixed them but after being there for 3hours I was over it. I received a full set with a gel coat and designs which was $60.00 when my nail tech only charges me $45.00 AND it's done right AND it only takes her around an hour or less. However, the price I did expect but NOT for the time it took and the quality. My gel coating started peeling off two days after I got them done and my nails already look like I need a fill in. The staff was super friendly and the decor was breathtaking so I give them great customer service skills, however, I do not think I will be back. read more
