DO NOT go to this massage studio…read more I had a medical emergency resulting in temporary vision loss. I called and sent a message asking to reschedule. Instead I was charged on my credit card, that I did not authorize, the price of the full massage. I understand that this is a small business but I offered to reschedule. They had no problem rescheduling my first appointment when it was convenient for them. I even went so far as to send them pictures of my doctors office. For a place of healing I would have expected them to be more empathetic. I can only ask that others boycott this business. If I business can't understand a medical emergency then they should not be in business!

Totally worth going to, and I've gone multiple times now. Highly recommend anyone who is in pain, to go to Steve.

Massage therapy is like pizza: even when it's bad, it's pretty good. But when you're in pain and…read moreyou really need competent help, your standards go up, and you start to notice that a lot of so-called 'therapeutic' massage is a bit sketchy. Enter Steven: I needed corrective massage to maintain my performance goals while training my body intensely for obstacle course racing. I took recommendations for therapists left and right, but couldn't find anyone who made a noticeable difference. Then a friend recommended a therapist named Steven, who she said would "turn my body into a wet noodle" (in the best kind of way). Since finding Steven, I cannot imagine going to anyone else for a massage. He is not only extremely well-versed in all forms of massage, but he is more knowledgable about every single body part, tendon and muscle in my body than my own doctor! I have not had a pain that I've brought to him that he couldn't completely relieve. I even once had terrible migraine headache that I'd been suffering through for three days when I went in to see him one evening. I didn't think massage could do much for it, but incredibly, he took away the tension in one session. It was remarkable. I've also been to Steven with neck pain, and locked up muscles and joints from rigorous athletic training, he knew what to do in each case to provide relief. Steven is simply the very best when it comes to precise, effective, pain relieving body work.

I've been seeing Abbie since 2022 for overall health and reduce stress. However, I've seeing her recently to relieve a hip and back pain which has gotten a lot better after just three sessions. She can adapt her pressure to my needs and preferences making it a very comfortable and relaxing experience. She communicates effectively and is very professional. Abbie is also very friendly and compassionate. I like that I get a massage for the whole time I schedule, plus additional time at the beginning of each session to talk about my needs and at the end Abbie gives me recommendations. I also like that when she is with me, there are no interruptions of any kind so her full attention is on me. She provides a relaxing environment with calming music, dim lighting, comfortable temperature and a clean space. She is a pretty busy lady so I schedule my appointments well in advance.
