There is ample parking there, the check-in process was quick and efficient and the front desk team was very friendly. I had little to no wait to be seen. I was initially evaluated by a student who was thorough in her exam and questions. I was later seen by Dr. Morgan Marshall Murphy. Both of them were very professional and helpful as well as thoughtful in their questions and comments. I was prescribed medicine and sent home with detailed instructions. Overall the experience was a very good one. I will need my annual eye exam next year for contacts etc and i will return to Hermann & Henry.

We had a humorous conversation both during the initial exam and with the eye doctor. This is a team that works well together, and you can tell by the end product which was a very pleasurable experience. I would give them 5 stars, but I was a little disappointed by the hours of operation. They're open after 5:00 p.m. only 3 days a week and closed on weekends, which made it difficult for me to schedule an appointment to accommodate my work schedule. But that isn't enough for me to consider anyone else. I was very satisfied with my visit and will be sending the rest of my family when the time comes.

She looks in my account and goes sorry it was paid I guess I will take this alert off there. Sorry.. Third time I called or text I was having a vision problem and called to schedule an appointment. I knew something was wrong with my eyes. I wanted to get in to see the doctor sent a text. No response set another text. I did reply back when and what time I put any time will be fine no reply back . I called the following week. The young lady said oh I got it . It was checked off that it was done sorry . My reply to her was . So sorry you just lost a patient.

Finally got around to going back with glasses simply asking they remove the anti glare and buff my lenses. Was told sorry been more than a year buy a new pair nothing we can do for you. Well these are glorified 400.00 reading glasses and the response in my opinion for a local eye doctor was pretty pathetic. I always try to shop local instead of big box but in this case big box out shined. Went to Americas Best. cleaned up Pickerington eyecare glasses for free. Still cloudy but buffed out the scuff for me. Will never use or refer to anyone ever again.

Waiting area: Clean. Organized. Cozy. Properly spaced for social distancing. Waited for about 3 minutes after check-in to be seen (mind you, I was also about 5 minutes late to my appointment - never underestimate Pickerington traffic!) Pre-exam imaging: normal exam (including the air in eye part). During this exam, I could overhear their team being extremely patient with a kiddo who was scared of the machines. I was impressed to hear the methods they used to calm the kiddo, build trust, and help the kiddos through their exam. I would say this place is kid friendly and they give lollipops post exam! With doctor: Dr. Pipo had a booming personality. He was energetic, kind, and really reviewed my case prior to examining me further. You know when docs ask "which is better? One or two?" And you can't tell the difference? He actually explained what the differences were while determining which corrections were needed for my eyes. Post exam: Laura (specialist) helped me with selecting my glasses. I told her the style I typically like and she brought ~10 pairs to try (which all met my preference along with a few fun frames). She helped me narrow the frames down and was extremely patient with me. 30-mins later, I picked the frames that we both agreed- totally matched me and my personality. After selecting the frames she helped me to assess the appropriate additions to make for my lenses and explain insurance coverage. Jessica (front desk) helped me with selecting the appropriate contacts covered by insurance. Overall- Fantastic staff. Fantastic facility. I look forward to meeting my new frames and going back again for my annual in 2022.

They are accommodating with my schedule and bend over backwards to make sure I have everything I need. Apparently the office had some questions about me trying to make another appointment in 3 months. During the time I was waiting I was not consulted or asked any questions. I explained to the desk it was an authorized appointment and what was the problem. I offered to call the V.A but was told they were in contact with them. At that time I sat down. No further communication and at 1429 went back to the desk , no one there waited a minute, and sat back down. At 1431 I left the facility and called the community care office at the V.A. very poor communication and will not return. Was very disrespectful of the staff to this veteran.​

This particular Meijer Vision Center happened to be the closest to me, so I figured I might as well go there and at least get my contacts prescription. Man,was I amazed at the knowledge of the doctor. She was definitely new out of school, but she knew all about the eye concerns I had been having with my contacts. I had worn some version of an Accuvue contacts since first being prescribed lenses. She had me try and alternative brand, and a few months later I am thrilled that I listened to her. Yes, this may be a chain store, but it's worth going for the doctor.
