I just need a few snacks to get me through my shift, so I came here. I ended up buying churro KitKats, a yummy strawberry cheesecake, some Motrin and gas for my Jeep. Plus a free Icee with the app! And considering the amount of foot traffic in the store, it was a quick trip for me!

The food we get from the deli is usually made pretty well, but it does seem like their soup selection is always the same. We never see the loaded baked potato soup anymore. This is a pretty busy Wawa, and one thing I do not recommend is coming here on the weekend. It gets very chaotic here, and it is even worse during high travel times to where people are parking at neighboring parking lots and lines are forming for gas pumps. Overall this is one of the better Wawas I have been to, and they do also have Tesla charging stations if needed, although I see lots of trucks and non-EV vehicles park in them.

There's always fresh coffee (and clean counters) cause someone is always manning the coffee station. Plenty of choices from snacks, drinks, etc. The restrooms and store are always clean. The only thing I don't like is with the high level of foot traffic at the store sometimes there will be only one cashier which causes the line to get long, but to be fair, that is from time to time and not on the regular. One of my favorite 7-elevens in the Chesapeake area.

Make sure you get a free Kroger Plus membership so you can take advantage of in-store savings, digital coupons and fuel points. You get one fuel point for every dollar you spend so if you spend over $100 in a month you get a 10 cent per gallon discount at the pumps. Spend over $200 and you get a 20 cent discount, over $300 for a 30 cent discount and so on up to $1 per gallon discount if you spend over $1000 in a month. The fuel points you earn in one month are redeemable the following month. Any unused points expire at the end of the following month. If you regularly shop at Kroger you can really save a lot of money on fuel. Fuel savings are limited to 35 gallons which is pretty generous. If you set it up right you can bring two vehicles and fill them both up. The normal posted gasoline prices are usually fairly competitive but certainly not the cheapest however when you couple it with a discount it usually ends up being the cheapest option in my local area. Choose from regular, mid-grade, premium or diesel. Even if you don't have available fuel points you will still save 3 cents a gallon with your Kroger Plus card. This facility is new so everything is clean and organized and in proper working order. There are plenty of pumps and I've never had to wait more than a minute or two to find one available. Just scan your Kroger Plus card and the display will ask you how much of your available discount you want to use then scan your credit card and pump your fuel. The spacious layout of the plaza provides easy access in and out.

There is a special place in my heart for both WaWa and 7-Eleven because I am used to seeing them on every corner back home. They have their differences and both are great. New Jersey has a strong presence of each, similar to the Starbucks saturation of the North West. They share the sometimes gas pump locations. Slevens have lottery while WaWas do not. WaWas have restrooms while Slevens do not. The similarities are that they are both great and a little competition is good. "The Good" - The staff are great. They are friendly and smiling and are always fast with a sincere "How are you doing?" - Refer back to my review of Bill's Hot Dogs concerning the police cruisers. This location is very police cruiser friendly. - Slurpees .... like you need more of a reason to visit a Sleven. - We are far enough below the Mason-Dixon to have Beer and Wine sold here. - This location has a gas station attached. - Lottery. You can't win if you don't play. "The Meh" - ATM even though there is a fee if it is not your bank. "The Bad" - The one thing that sets WaWa apart from the entire chain of Slevens is the ATM charge. WaWa does not charge you a fee if it is not your bank.
