Friendly staff and Dr. Meyers is a true professional…read more I came to the office for a follow up after being referred for an ankle fracture. Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! I cannot say enough about the quality of care from all of the staff from the front desk to the schedulers, the MA's and of course Dr DeLaRosa....everyone at OCC went above and beyond for my care and still does!

Story written that it was more of elopement, which it was not. Back to ICU for electrolyte adjustments and frequent labs. When discharged from ICU to floor more restrictions added. Had to have aide for eating, could not walk on unit without staff and cameras in room and bathroom. Very frustrating for son who was doing so well to be treated this way. Then CM on vacation so different ones filling in and do not feel that it went smoothly. Son is going to a rehab facility about one mile away. Dr was in early morning and wrote discharge orders. Had to wait all day for a van to transport at 5:30 PM. Makes me angry as he is missing a day of therapy at rehab. This day will count as day one with insurance. Waiting in room with way too many monitors on and very little therapy while in the hospital. Parents told they could not give a ride to rehab facility, although son is stable, cooperative, alert and oriented. Hope transport shows up at 5:30, feels like prison, with condensending nurse on duty.

Doctors were great except 2 - whoever was on the 5th floor Monday night, January 19, and the doctor in charge of my care. These 2 doctors and a RN failed to listen to my questions, display empathy, and attributed my distress to GAD. Yes, they diagnosed me with generalized anxiety disorder after our very brief interactions. Dr Guy Adair (the hospitalist in charge of my care) straight up LIED in his notes, saying I was "pacing the hallways." He also became defensive when I asked for clarification regarding my care. When I asked him why I should stay for a 3rd night even though all my symptoms were gone and my blood work was normal, he said, "if you go home now and your infection returns, you could die." I reported his behavior to the RN on duty as well as the discharge nurse. I also submitted a formal complaint online and received a phone call from UCHealth which I appreciated. I also filed a request to amend my medical records. I do not have, nor have I ever, had anxiety. I do still recommend this hospital because of all the other staff who work here. My mom also has been a patient here and 99% of her experience has been positive. For anyone reading this - you have the right to speak up and ask questions. It's YOUR body.

My daughter was born on May 8, 2026, and thanks to all of you, this day will always remain one of the happiest and most beautiful memories of my life. My labor and delivery went smoothly and wonderfully. The entire team was professional, attentive, and well-coordinated. Everything was done at exactly the right time, and I felt genuinely cared for, supported, and safe throughout the entire experience. I would especially like to thank Svetlana Naymark. She arrived at exactly the right moment and handled everything quickly, confidently, and professionally. Having someone like her by your side truly makes you feel that you are in the best hands. My daughter was born beautiful and healthy -- and even with a perfectly round little head! I also recovered very quickly after giving birth, and I am incredibly grateful to the entire team for that as well. I have nothing but warm and happy memories of one of the most important days of our family's life. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, care, and for making the birth of my daughter such a smooth, peaceful, and positive experience!

Dr Rowland (3.4 stars out of five on Healthcare web site) performed surgery to repair the two issues. Which, in fact, proved to be my intestines pushing against a weak oblique muscle wall. The same held true for the breastbone hernia. Dr Rowland supposedly did some strengthening of the the outer oblique wall. And closed the hole in the other one. I was discharged after a night of observation. Within 3 days the same problems re-occurred, only worse. The side hernia was now about the size of a banana and a half. The center hernia spread downward and across my whole upper belly. I immediately called Dr Rowland and left word at the office that the same problems had come back. A day later some office person called me back and said Dr Rowland had said they weren't hernias and he'd see me in two weeks for a post-op. In the mean time, I was having pain in both places which I had to endure until I saw him again. He explained that it was a post-surgical fluid buildup and he'd have to have a CT or ultrasound to make sure. I said that I'd just spent $345 on a copay and couldn't afford them. I hinted that because the operation hadn't worked could I get my copay refunded. He quickly ducked the question. It'll just make it harder on me for the next operation to fix his mess. We'll find out what can be done at a pre-op with Dr Harnbarger (4.4 stars of 5) my new surgeon, tomorrow.

This rating is based solely on the doctors and my new doctors evaluating their work (the receptionists, scheduler, nurses, and staff are all satisfactory). My first surgery was with Dr. Plaus & the second was with Dr. Golembeski. They are lackadaisical with their aftercare regimen (they provided incorrect paperwork for the procedure I had), disingenuous with their "your portion after insurance" estimate (their quote didn't take into account fees from surgery center, anesthesiologist, or other specialists) and follow-up (I made an office visit post surgery for complications and never heard back - now I need the same surgery 8 mos later). I get better customer service from the bbq joint next to my house than these "billable hours" professionals. Don't know what else to call them as they are not health care professionals.

He has an excellent bedside manner, which can't be said for a lot of surgeons. I also appreciate his staff, who worked with me on payment plans, appointment reschedulings, and my post-op visit. Everything throughout the process was excellent and as stress-free as a surgery could possibly be. I would highly recommend this practice.
