I moved to Raleigh and was very impressed with the service at renaissance- I have had a lot of trauma at the dentist and they were very kind to me with my situation. They filled 2 or 3 cavities for me in April of 2023. I recently switched to a new dentist as I have moved again and 2 of the fillings (one that had already been repaired by renaissance once) were broken. I called Renaissance to see if they would fix the broken fillings and they said that since it has been over 2 years they will not go back and fix any of them. and again - I have NEVER had a filling break. I am wondering how many others have had this happen at renaissance. Disappointing to spend 1000s of dollars on dental care and not be able to fix mistakes made on your patient. They didn't ask me to prioritize it, it seemed like they just insisted on what they came up with. This is what's called the opposite to customer oriented business. I laughed, and told her that it is on them for not informing us of their change in accepting our insurance and to come find me for that missed appointment charge - please, come find me! After years of an infection that broke into my sinuses, I went to see a specialist who immediately identified the poor work. He also knew exactly who did the work, as he has had to help other former patients of Dr Adams with similar issues. Thousands of dollars, multiple procedures, and multiple health issues later, I am back on track and healthy. As a side warning - over the years, I have posted about this experience on provider review sites. Prior to my appointment, I was sent a form to fill out that asked me questions about my health such as if I have been around people with Covid, if I was sick, if I had traveled, etc. Once I got to the dentist my temperature was taken by the check-in employee. I waited in the waiting area until I was called for my appointment. The waiting area is clean, modern and nicely decorated with beautiful decor and there is a TV. There's also a television on the ceiling in the rooms that you can watch while you are getting your teeth cleaned. I was taken back about 15 minutes after my appointment time. When the hygienist took me to the back, I had to fill out another form that stated that I did not have a fever and that I was not sick currently. During my visit the hygienist kept her mask on and kept gloves on when she was in contact with me. The hygienist is always friendly and professional during my visits. Prior to your departure you are allowed to schedule your next dental appointment if you want to. The facility also provides you with a toothbrush, a travel toothpaste, and dental floss prior to your departure. Dr. Schmoor was out of the office today so another dentist that I had never met filled in for her. If you are looking for friendly and professional staff then come check out this dentist office.
