They do have two sizes of tables; 9 feet and 7 feet. They were using the 7 foot tables for their league. So we had to use a 9 foot table. Since we're not pool players it took us about an hour to play two games!! That was ok. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She also served us our beers. Beer was $7 for a pint of bud light, and to play pool it's $7 an hour per person. Walking into a pool hall might be a bit intimidating. Not this place. It was very quiet, clean, and professionally run. We would definitely go back.

The fact that it was a non-smoking facility was an added bonus. Lance, the owner was very friendly and hospitable. It was $10 for unlimited pool and the prices for snacks were inexpensive. My only contention with Veterans Billards was that it was not well-lit. That may be due to the fact that there were a small number of people in attendance. This place is smoke free, has a lot of tables and also has a couple dart boards. I believe it was $7 per person per hour to play pool which I think was fair. The tables are longer than other tables I've played on, they're well taken care of and the place is clean, not loud; and wasn't crowded (it was a Tuesday night). They have beer, wine, seltzers, and some fireball shooters- No liquor, and some late night snack options. I wish we could come back again!! They are a wonderful married couple and hands-on owners. Atmosphere- It's dark and like most dive bars they do allow smoking. However, they do have several high-tech smoke-eaters installed in the ceiling that mitigate the damage. There are multiple pool tables, electronic games, and dart boards. Plenty of TVs. A Touch Tunes juke box of course. A relatively small l-shaped bar. The entire space is very clean and in much better shape than many dive bars. In true dive bar fashion, they are open from 9 am to 2 am every day of the week. There's nothing like a shot and a beer for breakfast to get your day started! Customer Service- Some of the bartenders have been there, done that for decades. You'll have no problem with service. Expect your drinks to be cheap and don't look for anything fancy.
