When I spoke with Cathy on the phone her creativity and enthusiasm was apparent. I shared that the theme for our party was the Blues Brothers and that I had a matchbox car, a replica of the Bluesmobile from the movie, to use as the cake topper. Her ideas to expand on this theme were spot on! We arranged for the cake to be delivered to our hotel on the day of the party which was very convenient. It was delicious and we enjoyed it the next day as well. I told Cathy that the cake was an integral part of our celebration and made my husband feel special - mission accomplished!

Our first few experiences were custom order cakes, which were around the initial COVID-19 outbreak. Sandra made sure the orders were still completed and took every precaution possible to ensure things would work out for our birthdays. We would then visit The Naked Cupcake at other locations they appeared until they finally opened their own physical store in Lake Nona, which we visit monthly! Aside from the obvious deliciousness of these cupcakes, they have amazing rewards and deals that make you always want to support. There are BOGO opportunities, discounts, celebrations and more. They truly go out of the way to maintain a relationship with the customers, and to ensure there is value to long-term support. One more thing that I feel is unique and speaks to the ambiance of the shop - they feature local creators and products from small businesses. When you visit in-store, you'll often see something new in the display areas. We LOVE you, Naked Cupcake!

When we arrived 5 minutes before the start of the event and they were in full set up mode, I started to get worried. The stage was being set up, porta-potties were being delivered, and tents were being blown away. The cost was $35 per person, however there was no value given out. The flier states hunting after dark and strategic skills. We hunted eggs throw casually in a field and it wasn't close to dark out yet. We also were told the hunt would begin at 7:30 and it was completely over at 7:28. Our group of 3 collected 60+ eggs, much more then many groups as we egg hunt at various events every year. In those eggs was candy being devoured by ants, and a couple condoms. I've been to free events with more value. There were a few eggs that had lotto tickets and prizes but I seen nothing that qualified the entry price. There was also very little food options for the 2-3 hundred people that were there. Two food stalls bared qualifies the "food trucks" advertised. Many groups were very upset and I hope this event business goes back to cakes (which look lovely) and stays out of the event business.

Glad to have something like this in the area especially one that delivers out to Lake Nona which is rare- so many of the places I'd love to order from don't come out this way or only do so via super pricy third party services. I liked everything I tried- the only complaint was that my s'mores hand pies were more like chocolate hand pies- no marshmallow taste to be found- still delicious and flaky though. The cookies were my favorite but the cranberry shortbread was perfectly tart and buttery as well.

ITS ADORABLE. they have this beautiful soft pink aesthetic that anyone can enjoy. The gold bar rack over the register that holds all the individually styled glasses they serve you with, was beautiful. Whom ever I met with my friends, they were so nice and recommended the bubble waffle to us since we had never been there before and side note if you had tried a bubble waffle. They're phenomenal. I got mine with chocolate ice cream. But over all the staff, food, and look of this adorable bakery was perfection! Truly a treat for anyone who walks in.
