For over a year, just about every payday I have spent roughly $50 plus tip(I ALWAYS tip the…read moredriver). That comes to about $1300 annually. I started using CanEx because they advertise the final price of the product, Not surprise you at the checkout with taxes and extra fees. They also have a decent point/discount program...But! I am now very tired of the "extremely poor" customer service they provide... or DON'T provide. Two weeks ago I purchased a 'special deal' which turned out to be poor quality weed. This happened once before about six months ago. The first time it was resolved fairly. This time they did not offer me a fair resolution. But I took it because something was better than nothing. Tonight I wanted to buy two eights for $50. Their website says Drivers don't carry change. Turns out I only had about $36 in small bills. And a handful of $100 bills. So I called CanEx to see if they could help me and here's how it went... Called number on their website and it directs you to press zero to speak to somebody at the store. Then it started ringing a bunch of times and the voicemail says "it hasn't been set up". I gave it a few minutes, thought they might be busy, then tried to call back. Gave it another few minutes tried to call back no answer. So I went back to the website and tried to connect with customer service rep online. I typed out my interest in purchasing 2 eights/$50 with a $100 bill. After 8 minutes I was sent only a link to their website. I retyped my question specifically asking to use a $100 bill bill. After 18 minutes. I was told drivers don't carry change. I argued the point of my loyalty and suggested they make a rare exception for me. This did not phase him at all. I then suggested that I might resolve this by using a new service. My patience was already limited based on my experience two weeks ago. I really couldn't believe he doesn't care about a customer who spends $1300 a year at his store. I also have a hard time believing that drivers can't make a small amount of change. Some people spend hundreds of dollars in one transaction. And you can't provide $40 change??? I then asked him if I was just supposed to tip the driver the remaining $50. Shot down and completely frustrated about 45 minutes into a 5 minute transaction, I placed my order of 1/8 for $35 on their website. Disappointed I couldn't get the other eight for $15 more. I have to either smoke less or spend more between now and the next payday. Yeah I could've got in my car, gone down to the store, got change for the hundred dollar bill but that's not how it played out. When the driver showed up (Aman, my regular Friday night awesome delivery guy) I explained to him what had happened. He was very empathetic and couldn't comprehend the lack of service provided. I apologized to him for only been able to provide a two dollar tip. It's pretty easy to see how their poor decisions affected me, the driver and now you the consumer. I'm writing this review so you can truly see how this company treats its customers. You may scroll through reviews and see a bunch of five star reviews...but keep this in mind. Prior to CanEx I used Cali Coast for about a year. Somewhere during that year I was offered a discount on my order if I left a five star review on this website. So. This is a true review from a loyal customer who is tired of not getting the service that I am paying for. You can't always trust five star reviews that are paid for with customer discounts.
