I called around for local chiropractic help and found Ten Mile Chiropractic. What would have seemed to be an experience that was centered around crisis actually became one of the highlights of my trip! Dr Alaina took incredible care to understand my history, inspect the pain center and understand the root cause of my issue. She educated me as to how body mechanics play into my chronic problem and not only quite effectively fixed my issue, but gave me suggestions as to how to prevent in the future. Not only that, she offered to refer me to others in my home town of San Diego that may be able to help me ongoing. On my next trip to Breck, I will be stopping by Ten Mile... perhaps for treatment, perhaps just to say hi.

I was told there was a 97% recovery rate for my condition and that I'd be back to rock climbing and sports in a number of months. However, both the 1st and 2nd surgeries performed by Dr. Paul Abbot completely failed. My strength and mobility plummeted 80% after my treatment at this facility. I was in FAR better health prior to walking into VSON. They ruined my body. Another surgeon did his best to clean it up a couple years later. He gave me some improvement, but 13 years later I am in crippled agony. I've called a few times over the years to plead for some consideration to my outcomes, but they do not care for that. They are of course happy to see me again, restart the process, and give me another enormous bill, but there is no real sympathy or concern shown for how they ruined my athleticism and left me with chronic lifelong pain at the age of 22. Imagine paying tens of thousands of dollars for this outcome. It genuinely keeps me up at night. That and the pain. Maybe their new doctors are better, but don't be fooled when they say they care about you.
