I love dogs and got to pet him a little bit, which could probably count as an additional form of therapy she offers :) The office building she's located in is very nice, and her office has tons of lovely natural light, which is rare for a massage place. It feels very positive and welcoming in there (I don't feel the pictures do it justice!). Erika is also an herbalist so she makes her own massage oils and the other products she uses. This really sets her apart! Everything is super natural and intentionally crafted. My sensitive skin felt great afterwards. I appreciated that Erika was talkative and friendly but she wasn't trying to talk to me the whole time. The pressure she used was strong -- I appreciated this as you never want to drop dollars on a fluffy massage that doesn't do much. She then sat down to tell me very honestly that she didnt think it was a good idea for the thai yoga with the castor oil. Bc the massage was clothed (it was more of her streching me) and she did not want the oil to ruinn my clothes. Extra point for her for being honest. She then gave me the option of a sports massage and the castor oil. She offered me tea and water. She put on the oil and gave me an abdominal massage! After that the pain of my sore muscles started coming. She was streching and massaging things i did not know they could hurt. She is excelent. After i was done i was feeling still sore and in pain. I was dissapointed because i fekt it did notnwork...silly me. Next day i feel good as new! No more pain and soreness. It was beautiful. And to top it all of. I don't know how to describe the work Juan does, short of to say it's magical. "Massage" would not begin to describe the work and skill he offers. He is more of a physical healer than a masseur, combining many styles and disciplines, and using his own exceptional ability to see your pain and problems. He's a smaller guy, but has the power of a gorilla if he needs it. I am a cyclist, and have worked hardened, beat up muscles. There was nothing he couldn't manipulate or get through to. Also, he seems to know exactly where to go to a problem, and never seems to "search" for it. He seems to be able to just "see" where to work. He made such a dramatic and significant improvement in my body in one visit, I went right back the next day for another dose of his magic. With his help, I completed the arduous LT100 with a smile on my face, and never suffered a mile. I am certain he was key to my success, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was so upset and in pain after this experience that I had to have my father call in for me to help me with this situation. I have a hard time with awkward confrontation in person (which is an issue of my own I'm working on but has nothing to do with this) he then proceeded to tell you to stay on the line and that he would be adding me to the call so I could tell you how I felt. You had hung up after calling me a "scam artist" and when we proceeded to call you back you wouldn't pick up. Yes I tipped you people for physically abusing me but only because I AM a genuine good and sweet person. It was then after I got back to my hotel, crying beside myself in SO much pain with bruises everywhere barely able to lay back on my bed. I then had time to process what had happened and realized there was NO way I was going to pay to be treated that way and be literally not only physically abused but completely exposed and extremely uncomfortable while laying naked on the massage table by your therapist. And I didn't appreciate you making me feel like I had done something wrong by not "changing in the correct spot" or "using the locker" because when I arrived you were not there to greet me and tell me where to go or what to do... you and I both know that when I first called you to book my appointment I told you I wanted a Swedish massage because I wanted to relax. Not a deep tissue which you then tried to up-sell and convince me to get. I never wanted such a deep tissue massage and you knew better. And again, I don't understand why you lied saying you called me to apologize and left a voicemail when that is absolutely and positively NOT the truth. You had hung called me a scam artist and hung up and never answered the phone back. FYI, my attorney already asked me if I wanted to sue after sharing this and my pictures of proof with him. I said no.
