I had tried to locate a sharpener in Austin on a few occasions; however, they were very inconvenient (i.e., far away and they had to be left for several days and picked up) and/or unacceptably expensive. Devin's mobile service hit all the marks. Found him at the Lone Star Farmer's Market in the Hill Country Galleria one day [check his SM for locations]. He charges by the inch and provides great customer care above and beyond any expectations. I retrieved several of my knifes from my house and vroom...back to Devin's mobile work station before he shut down for the day. In less than an hour, and under 100 bucks, he had my knives sharper than the sword in "My Bodyguard." Truth! And, he had them all neatly wrapped in a perfect little package. Thanks again Devin! I've attached pictures of my knife. Please keep in mind that I use this knife very hard. As you can see the blade coating is quite worn from use splitting firewood, but the cutting edge is fantastic after the trip to Bob. Also, I believe he sharpens crampons as he had several pairs lined up on the table.
