A quick and easy sign-up, thanks to Michelle, all of the signature equipment every Planet Fitness has, and they offer free classes throughout the day. The Black Card Spa is an impressive perk, though accessing each area does require you asking the front desk for a passcode. Still, I can definitely see myself making good use of this space. This location itself is MASSSIVE, yet I found myself a bit underwhelmed by how the space is being used. There's a lot of potential to create a more inviting atmosphere. By adding a few thoughtful design touches, more conveniently placed sanitation stations, and better equipment distribution (rather than just centering everything) could really elevate the experience and make the space feel more functional. It didn't exactly have the buzz of a true Grand Opening--which could be from what led to pushback after pushback--but I'm still excited to jump back in and (re)start my fitness journey

After several years away from home, The Perfect Workout persisted in notifying me that I had some unused workout sessions left. They are super flexible and allowed me to renew my expired sessions. I went to the Memorial location for the first time (I used to go to the River Oaks location), and Alex was my trainer. Since it had been several years, she carved out extra time to walk me through the method again, and to ensure I had the proper weight on the machines. She was positive, motivating, and a delight to work with. Very glad that I get to come back to this 20 minute workout designed to build and maintain muscular health!
