I caled the business phone this morning at 8:30am and got a Spanish answering message saying "persona no esta disponsible." Even the Facebook page hasn't been updated since the July 4th holiday. The carne asada fries were loaded and not skimpy on the meat. Tacos had a good balance without being greasy. You can tell this is the kind of place people in town already know about. Nothing flashy, just solid food done right. Prices were reasonable too considering how expensive eating out has gotten lately.

The Wagyu burger was disappointing, it was not much better from a standard chain burger. Not sure why people say it's the best - the burger was thin and nothing special.

Buzz Dawgs is a food truck that is anchored behind the patio of Punchy's Tavern…read more I'm a regular at Punchy's; I meet a dear friend there at least twice a month. The back patio is dog friendly and we often bring our dogs there. More recently, I've really gotten to like the food at Buzz Dawgs and the people who run the food truck: Josh (with his Chihuahua Buzz) and friend Anthony. Now going to Punchy's is a great excuse to bring my appetite. The food is good and very affordable. Most recently my friend and I met there and we each had a Philly Cheesesteak with mushrooms. The sandwich was loaded with finely-cut beef, oozing with cheese sauce loaded with onions, peppers and shrooms. It was a messy delicacy, but for a mere $10 pure heaven. I've had other items here: the grilled cheese and Patty Melt are my other favorites. When Josh isn't busy he brings the food out to you, but on busy nights (like Biker Night Thursdays) you get a pager that buzzes when your order is ready.

The coleslaw had the right spices and texture - it was amazing. The chili was overpowered with beans, but it tasted great. My daughter said the flavor tasted like Hawaiian punch. Would I try anything else on their menu next time? SHO NUFF!

That being said there were also huge lines, I waited for about an hour for MaFooCo and my friend waited an hour and a half for Planet of the Crepes. The food that was well worth the wait, but like a boy scout you should be prepared. Take heed if you plan on going to an event like this, get here when it starts to avoid the long lines or divide and conquer sending members of your group to different trucks and sample together. Our group was able to hit 5 different hot-spot trucks using the divide and conquer approach. Seating is limited so if you have some folding chairs they will come in handy. There is a huge value in this event for those of us who don't work near a food truck. It's a casual and inexpensive way to get to try foods off the beaten path. I will definitely be at the next Round-up!

Run by Garrett Gahn, this neat little trailer is setup to make hot and cold sandwiches. The focus of the cuisine is Po Boy Sandwiches with a range of styles from Andouille to Shrimp to Ham, Turkey, Bacon to Vegan to hamburgers. My initial visit was a "Club" style sandwich, priced modestly at $7, with ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and onion on a toasted hoagie/Po Boy roll. Warm meat, crisp lettuce and a soft roll was what I received, sliced in half, and wrapped in deli paper as any proper sandwich is. Tasty, quality ingredients were stuffed into a warm roll that was both satisfying and filling. I knew it had to be decent prior to trying it as I saw people coming to just get a sandwich and then leave the Farmer's Market. The offerings are simple, cooked-to-order sandwiches, most for around $7 with soda and chips at a reasonable price of $1. Although I may not go out of my way to stop by, if I am in the vicinity of the Sierra Vista Farmer's Market, I will stop and pick up a Authentic (for Arizona) Po Boy Sandwich - or at least I know I can receive a respectable meal if I were to see Garrett selling food elsewhere.
