The flavors are great. Build it however you want from the options. The first time I went for a burrito. Today was the bowl. Definitely less messy but more than enough for 2. Visited this place for breakfast as we are new owners on South Padre island and this is pretty close to our property. We stopped by and immediately we were greeted with a great smile and great attitude ny the young lady! She was amazing! We had the breakfast burrito. This was a great place to eat. I got to create my own burrito with all fresh ingredients I wanted. The flavor was good and the tortillas being just a little on the crispy side was a create texture for the burrito. Definitely a great choice for breakfast Around this area. With fresh ingredients and a great attitude what more could you want for breakfast?! I kinda hate doing this, but people need to know what's up. I felt very misled by these rave reviews and the photos on the menu. Granted, most of the time, menu photos are not exact depictions of the actual item, but I've never felt so catfished in my life--and by a Christian-based business to boot! The shredded chicken tasted flavorless. The rice and tortillas were soggy from the pico de gallo and the meat water running into everything by the time I got back to where we were staying. The young lady working here was indeed very nice. I wish she would've taken 2 seconds to ask what I needed to save me about 15 minutes of unnecessary waiting. After the one lady in front of me waffled between this topping or that sauce and needed multiple types of payments to complete her order, it turns out my call-in order was packaged, paid for, and sitting behind the counter the whole time. That wouldn't have mattered much if the food was as good as the ratings and menu photos suggested, but I've honestly had school cafeteria meals with more personality. read more

I discovered this spot while on vacation in South Padre and was blown away by how wonderful it was! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, which made the experience all the better. To the other review saying they were catfished, that's an understatement. This is the biggest rip off I've ever seen from a food truck. The rice was instant, the beans were watery and flavorless, the elote was canned corn and watery with no flavor, the Mexican hotdogs (you seriously charged us $9 for this and a bag of chips?! You should be ashamed of yourselves) weren't even cooked and served with pickled jalapeños. The lack of flavor and lack of care is just straight up disrespectful to food trucks. Hot dogs weren't cooked. Corn in a cup was watery. "Mexican" rice was plain white rice, unseasoned, and hard. Everything is straight out of a can and unseasoned. The salad was brown. The quesadillas were okay, which I would say is because it's impossible to mess up a quesadilla, but before today I didn't know it was possible to mess up a hot dog so ‍. The best (i.e., only edible) part were the cheetohs, which I presume was the bulk of the cost of my $9 "meal". You know when you order something online and you're really excited to get it but when you open the box it's nothing like the picture or description? That's exactly what my experience was. The "mexican hotdog" was not cooked or even warm. It really was just a cold hotdog with onions, tomato, pickled jalapeño and a little queso fresca. Most of them ended up in the trash. Quiktrip has better hotdogs. Nothing was seasoned! The rice was hard and cold. The beans were gross. The worst thing was the veggie bowl, it was those flavorless beans, rice, lettuce and tomatoes all for 10.50. Spend over $100 just to have most of it end up in the trash. We did keep the chips. Forget about all the other crowded joints and come enjoy a fresh burrito at this cool little burrito joint. My five stars are given for the many vegan options available and especially the burrito wraps, which are marked kosher on the package. Not only do they have three types of beans, two of those are vegan: the black beans and pinto beans. All of the fillings are "free". You are not limited in the number of items you can add to your burrito and there's a full spread of veggies and cheeses including pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, 3 types of corn, including a mixed corn salsa and many more. Add friendly service to your order and it's a great stop for breakfast lunch or dinner. For all of my meat loving friends, they have chicken, ground beef, Barbacoa pork, sausage, bacon among other things. Everyone will be happy eating here. read more

I believe this is a new location . The place is immaculate, friendly staff. They have burritos, nachos, tacos, salads, bowls for those who are watching carbs. Should have known when it was completely empty on a Friday night. Was going to have a salad until I saw the browned ice berg so had a vegan bowl instead. No grilled vegetable options. This is a really great little spot for lunch and maybe breakfast - we didn't try their breakfast but it looked like a good menu! The flavor of the meat and salsa was really good and they were very friendly. Scripture on the door made this perfect for our Christian School, and they do require a mask while ordering because of the buffet style system. But they were very kind to members in our group who cannot wear a mask - we encountered rudeness at other places which was upsetting.
