In addition, although I don't need the hardcore camping and hiking equipment, they do have a large selection of shoes, shirts, hats, beanies, pants, etc. that an indoorsman like me (lol) will find useful. What I also thought was cool was that they offer some classes like "Camping Basics" and "How to Pack a Backpack." While some of these classes cost $50 for non-members, others are free and open to the public. Lastly, I loved their selection of dog equipment, which I could definitely see myself coming back for, as they had a few items that I haven't even seen at stores like PetSmart or Petco. All-in-all, REI's a really fun store, which I think that anybody, regardless of experience level, can visit and enjoy!

I understand that they have a target demographic and need to make a profit, but it would be nice if it was a little bit more affordable and thus accessible to a larger percentage of the fanbase.
