We've been here twice. Once for lunch which was amazing. Once for breakfast, which was not impressive at all. This is great for their lunch menu because the sandwiches are huge, unique and tasty. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because it did take a little longer than expected. The house ham croquets were one of the best croquets I've had in a long time. I went to Breadman to get my request like dependably - obviously the day there is insane rain and crazy activity and I'm scarcely making it back to work in time for the festival - and they disclose to me my cake isn't there. Turns out the pastry specialist had blended the dates. At to begin with, I was disturbed on the grounds that I had no cake and no alternatives to determine the issue however once the chief arrived, he offered me some littler cakes and a delectable baked good and debacle was turned away. He apologized for the disaster and spared the day by giving us cakes for the birthday. I know this was only an oddity incident and their cakes and cakes are flavorful so certainly still prescribe them - quite possibly affirm platter arranges before lifting them up, which I'll be doing later on. read more

My sister moved recently in the area and we came across this bakery. We've heard of bread man before so we decided to try it out. Not only is their pastries and food amazing but so is their customer service. Anis and Lisset are awesome! Currently I went in trying to get a señorita and Anis suggested that I tried a señorita of almonds and that they had a new baker from Europe that just made a fresh batch. I don't know what they do to their tostada, but it's the best tostada in the city. Something about the butter they use and the ratio of bread to butter equal perfection. The ham croquetas de la casa are also delicious, easily top three croquetas. The pastelitos are good, try the nutella one for a different treat. At checkout there's a cookie stuffed with an oreo that you can't miss out on. Tip: Call the bakery 10-15 minutes ahead of time to place your order. I love this place! I've been here a couple times not and I have yet to be disappointed. If you like Cuban bakeries and pastelitos this place is for you! It honestly feels like Vicky Bakery's younger and cooler sister. (no hate on Vicky, they honestly have my heart) breadman is different because their menu is a little less traditional with things like Nutella pastelitos, flan topped with arrow con Leche , and Oreo stuffed brownies. Pastelitos - let's start with the one we actually drove out to to get some more! Carne & Platanito (Meat & Sweet Plaintain) It's shape is far from what u r used to for a meat pastry but it is the perfect vehicle for this perfectly balanced savory/sweet combination. The savory ground beef used is nicely seasoned with traditional flavors which are then enhanced by its pairing with sweet what I think is mashed in plantains. It's shape is that like an empanada but yet flaky crust like a pastel. Then it is given a little sugary glaze to finish off the crust. Once u take your first bite all the ones to follow seem to get bigger cause u just can't get enough of it. Gives u a feeling of a meal at home! Buy 2 at a time that way u won't have to be eating the first one & wondering why did u not get 2! There is also something that we have plenty to compare to around s fla & those are croquetas! These are big shoes to fill among us folks who just love these & I gotta say as I was waiting my turn in line I noticed two things. One was that in the hot box there were 2 types of croquetas being offered 1 was jamon (ham) & the other was "croquetas de casa"? Not sure what was difference but did catch that folks in front of me were buying these second ones in lots of 6 & up at a time. So without any hesitation so did I. Only one thing thou I gotta say, I did not follow my own precious advise & only bought one. Wrong move. These should be only sold as "pairs"! Nice crust outside & creamy inside. It was amazing. Many other items available like Nutella pastry alone or w cheese. What a hit! This place is the excellently executed brainchild of a Cuban American kid. Of course, I'm assuming this because I wasn't able to meet the owners; it's just the vibe I got from the place. We came here for breakfast and absolutely loved it. I had the traditional Cuban toast, scrambled eggs and cafe con leche. The toast was buttery and flat (just as it should be!) and the cafe con leche is easily the best one I've ever had! I ordered my eggs scrambled, with American cheese,onions and bacon. Bacon typically makes the eggs very greasy, which was not the case here, score! Apart from the delicious breakfast I had, the service was so wonderful. Everyone was so attentive! My only regret was being too full to order one of their beautiful pastries. They looked soooooo good. They are a modern bakery in Hialeah with a lot of interesting menu items like the carne and maduro Pastry or the Nutella and cream cheese pastry. I've tried 2 of the sandwiches. The Rakata is a must try. It has some pink sauce that's amazing in it. I also had the supermeng. It's basically a Philly cheesesteak with two eggs and served on Cuban bread. Shredded steak was seasoned very well and it was yummy but not as impressed by it. I went to Breadman Miami yesterday (5.15.18) before they closed in hopes of getting some croquetas and pastries. Upon arrival I was told they didn't have any croquetas, I said thank you and went to leave before being told not to worry that they would fry some up quickly for me. I appreciated the gesture and waited. When I was given the croquetas I took a bite and they were frozen solid in the middle! I told the cashier who at this point was speaking with one of the cooks and both their responses were "yeah that's how we make them. you have to wait for the center to thaw" and was offered to have the croquetas microwaved. WHAT? that is not how food should be given to customers. I was taken back how the cashier and cook made it seem as if its no big deal and it's done regularly. read more

I love this place. The pastelitos always seem as if they just came out of the oven. Fresh and flaky and packed with filling. My favorite is the guava and cheese, it melts in your mouth. The croquetas de la casa are delicious. And they have the best pan con tortilla, which you can basically add from ham, chorizo, cheese, potatoes or all of the above. They also have your traditional Cuban breakfast choices (tostadas, eggs, tortillas, etc). But the clincher was their desserts. Honestly, I like sweets but NOTHING in Cuban bakeries interest me. Well, finally tried it. My dad bought some pastelitos here not long ago and I instantly realized this place was new. I invited my girlfriend to breakfast there this Sunday morning and we LOVED it. I had the Supermeng sandwich and let me tell you that it is not for the faint of heart. Cutup steak and two fried eggs fill the inside of half a loaf of Cuban bread. It was massive, juicy, and extremely filling! The natural made orange juice was perfect, and my girlfriend loved her egg white scramble with home fries. We also ordered a box of some craft pastelitos to go. Carne con maduro pastelitos were a must-try! Service was on point, and prices were reasonable. Someone who I presume to be the owner and cook came out to ask me how I was enjoying my "protein sandwich" lol... he also likes to fish, so we had a brief exchange on how little fishing we've both done lately. The seating is kind of limited so be prepared for that when you visit, we sat outside on a hot Sunday midday, and sweat quite a bit, but the food was worth it! Get there, today! read more
