Vegan burrito - delicious
Debbie C.

Vegan brunch paradise! There are not a lot of places that offer a good vegan brunch but this place does it! They seated our group of 10 very quickly and the service was great. Our table ordered: Vegan omelette with tempeh - delish! Vegan omelette with crumbled "meat" - my favorite Hashed browns - perfectly crispy Vegan breakfast burrito - looked good, my friend enjoyed it Vegan meatball sub - my husband liked it Vegan egg sandwich - looked good, but was more bread than egg Vegan chicken salad - it's more of a grilled chicken salad

Nice place to enjoy sandwiches and cafe food outside if it's nice weather. Food is delish.

Strawberry crepes

But no means was the service stellar, but we found the food delicious. My husband had the strawberry crepes which were good. had a salmon egg Benedict and vanille mocha. The Benedict came with a salad instead of the hash browns mentioned on the menu. Unfortunately, the salad seemed old and wasn't crisp. Nonetheless, everything else was great.

Came here with my mom-- great because we found parking in back and came through the back door. Always bustling atmosphere and great for chai lattes :) Our waitress was very kind and service was wonderful. I had a lamb gyro yummm. It comes with chips or a salad. It's quite filling. My mom and I split a cheese danish because a treat is always nice. Quite good! The desserts are soo tempting up front... one day I shall get a cake!!! :)

Americano with milk

Stumbled upon this little cafe. Was super tempted by the pastries but decided to sit down and got the bircher muesli. Never had it before so I didn't really know what to expect but the dish is served cold which I was kinda happy about. Reminded me a little of a parfait. Tons and tons of fruit including grapes, strawberries, green apple, cantaloupe and a little bit of orange. I ordered an Americano and asked for milk on the side. Americano is a good size and pretty strong. Used up all the milk ha! Anyway, plenty of seats inside and a cute patio out front. I'd give it a try :)

Got the spinach and mushroom quiche with hot tea and a bakery treat. The quiche was extremely cheesy with a flaky crust. Definitely going to order again. The side salad wasn't needed but appreciated. The bakery treat was a tiramisu layered dessert 10/10 can't wait to try again

Chocolate croissant

Stopped for coffee and croissant. Cute outdoor seating area with table service if you want to dine in. Service was quick. Out iced coffee was really good came in cute mason jars. The croissant was just ok, I was excited since it is a pastry shop but definitely a good little coffee shop if you are in the area.

Came here because I had passed it so many times and wanted to try a new latte! The interior is huge! We decided to sit outside on their sidewalk patio that is covered because we had our dog with us. I was surprised it was a formal sit down restaurant. I had assumed it was a order-at-the-counter place. The service was super friendly. The latte was delicious!!! Exactly how I like them. Not too sweet w strong coffee flavor. The quiche was also very very good! The salad was meh. Basically just spring mix w a little bit of dressing. I do think this place is a bit overpriced, but that probably is necessary for the location and huge size of the inside. I would come back for the latte and maybe a quiche!

Solid coffee, pastry and brunch cafe. Nice variety of menu items, breakfast, salads, sandwiches and of course the pastry counter. It was difficult for me to tell what was actually made fresh in house (like if the kitchen was also a bakery), even the pastries up front in the counter. We tried the Meusli, quiche lorraine, tuna sandwich, and hot chocolate. All were pretty average, good but didn't blow me away. The quiche and sandwich came with side salads which was nice, I asked about the dressings and unfortunately all were bottled. Still good though. What was really good was the hot chocolate, the bread on the sandwich, and the fruit on the meusli. Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere was nice (there is a nice outdoor patio) and family friendly, and the prices were decent (about $50 for three lunches and non-al drinks before tip).

Chocolate Truffle cake for $50 was awful. My daughter was disappointed and said it smelled like Play-Doh.

Nice boutique cafe with a galore of croissants, donuts, cookies with some seasonal/weekly specials…read more I've made my rounds through the menu and ate more pastries than I can count! The seasonal Donuts and the Croissant Tarts keep me coming back! Best Donuts - Pumpkin Pie Donut, Tiramisu Donut, Key Lime Pie, Boston Cream, and Hot Cocoa Nutella donut. The Strawberry and Raspberry have a Jelly/Jam filling. I wasn't a big fan of the Cookie Butter Donut, Cannoli donut, or the Dot Cake Donut, or S'mores donut. The Cookie Butter donut tasted like creamy peanut butter while the Cannoli donut that didn't have the sweet creamy filling that I was hoping for and the Funfetti frosting was a bit off on the Dot Cake Donut (super fun to see all the dot sprinkles on top!). I wish there was more marshmallow filling in the S'mores onut. Croissant Tarts - Both the sweet and savory tarts deliver! The Raspberry Cream Cheese Tart, Red Pepper Feta Tart, Apple Tart, and Everything Tart are all delicious! The classic Garlic Spinach Tart and Shroom Tart are fine. Best Croissants - Christmas Tree Raspberry Croissant, Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Croissant, Apple Butter Crumble Croissant, Almond Croissant, and Matcha Croissant. The Berry Brioche Tart was fun to try, but not my favorite. The cookies are pretty light and fluffy, the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie tasted like a lemon sugar cookie with no filling. The Kitchen Sink cookie was an interesting blend of salty flavors (chips, pretzels, toffee). For Valentine's Day, the Linzer sugar cookie filled with raspberry jam was delicious! So glad I grabbed the last one by 11am on Saturday! For Mother's Day, there were colorful macaroons. All of the fillings with the donuts and croissants are whipped and pretty light. There's a parking garage next door and you can get parking validated for 1 hour. While there's plenty of seating inside, it can get packed over the weekends. There's no outdoor seating (there's some makeshift seating around the high-rise building). Great local bakery with a lot of baked goodies to choose from!

The pastries were fresh, soft and mouth watering. The mango iced matcha was a little disappointing due to the bitter after taste of the drink. Looking forward to trying other pastries and other drinks at the patisserie.

The cakes (which can also be ordered as mini individual sized options) are CRIMINALLY good. You text Sam at the number listed, he sends you back an email for online payment, and once the order is ready you receive a text indicating it is ready for pickup from an outdoor refrigerator located outside the aforementioned townhouse unit, much like picking up a stash of cash/drugs at an unspecified dropoff location in Grand Theft Auto. Just go on the website to browse the options of cakes which taste as delicious as they are visually stunning. I can attest that the strawberry passion mousse cake and the classic black forest cake are light and airy, not overpoweringly sweet, and the individual components of chocolate, fruit, and cake are high end restaurant quality. If one were planning a heist, usually you need a wheel guy for the getaway, a hacker guy to break into the security system, a conman to talk your way into the location, and occasionally a gunman/strongman in case plans go awry. While exploring Easton on my way to St. Michaels, MD, I found myself with a very important problem…read more I wanted dessert. Not ice cream. Not candy. I wanted a proper baked good. A quick search pointed me toward Ruby's Cake Shoppe & Pastries, and after seeing it was one of the highest-rated bakeries in town, I figured the Universe had spoken. Off I went. Ruby's sits quietly in a little strip mall that would be easy to drive right past if you weren't specifically looking for it. Fortunately, I was looking for it because a day with a cupcake is almost always better than a day without one. When I walked inside, I had the bakery all to myself. As an overthinker who's capable of spending way too long deciding between desserts, this was tremendous news. Nobody behind me. No pressure. Just me staring lovingly into the bakery cases trying to convince myself I had enough self-control to leave with only one cupcake. Spoiler alert...I did not. Being the peanut butter enthusiast that I am, the Peanut Butter Banana cupcake immediately caught my eye. Banana and peanut butter is one of life's greatest combinations and this cupcake absolutely proved my point! The cupcake reminded me of a wonderfully moist slice of banana bread while the frosting was thick, rich and unapologetically peanut buttery. This thing was GOOD! Then Ruby herself came out to check on me. How cool is that?! We chatted for a few minutes and she told me her favorite cupcake is the Hummingbird. In fact, she laughed and admitted she usually eats three every time she makes them. Three?! Challenge accepted! Just kidding. Mostly. Naturally, I had to see what all the hype was about. And Ruby wasn't lying. The Hummingbird cupcake completely stole the show! It was incredibly sweet without being over the top, and the pineapple running through the cake made every bite bright and interesting. The cream cheese frosting was wonderfully sweet and paired perfectly with the cake. I honestly couldn't stop smiling while I ate it. At $3.75 each, both cupcakes felt like an absolute bargain. Ruby's also specializes in custom cakes for birthdays, weddings and celebrations, and after tasting these cupcakes, I can only imagine how incredible those cakes must be. Parking was plentiful right outside the shop, and while there are a few small tables inside if you'd like to enjoy your treats there, it seemed like most people were stopping in to grab dessert and head on their way. My advice? Don't just stop because you happen to be driving by. Make Ruby's the destination. I know I will! Anytime I'm within striking distance of Easton, there's an excellent chance you'll find me standing in front of the cupcake case once again pretending I'm only buying one.

She immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in and then went over all their options with me. They do open face sandwiches but she said any can be made into a regular sandwich. I ate the sandwich when I got home and it was also very good. The chicken and sumac onions were delicious! We each got the espresso with whipped cream. Heads up, for a coffee focused place the cream was definitely out of a can. But the coffee itself was amazing. For food we got a pistachio beignet, and a chocolate and pistachio croissant. The beignet is definitely not a beignet- it was a bit more bread like, though it still tasted good. And the pistachio cream, though delicious, was so runny. The croissant was good but also had the same pistachio cream issue. It dripped out. For food I had the bacon flaming tart, which tasted amazing! One thing to note- the menu says capers, but it's scallions. That was a welcomed error, since I love scallions! We also got drinks, and I enjoyed my pistachio beverage. Overall, I'd say out of the options nearest the zoo, this is one of the best.
