Love this place! Always a great spot to grab a casual lunch or brunch. The atmosphere is pretty decent for a sports bar kind of feel. Service is sometimes hit or miss especially if it's a game day. I am a big fan of their buffalo chicken salad. I always sub the fried chicken for either grilled or blackened chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing and buffalo sauce. Chef's kiss! Pretty wide variety of choices on their menu so you're guaranteed to find something you like! Prices are decent too which makes it nice for a casual date night or a ~girl dinner~ It's a tough choice between the bar type food here and Angry Ales tbh. Also side note: during the Christmas season this year, they decorated the bar room with festive lights, ornaments, and garland which was so cute!! read more

Mrs. K. wanted "pub" and Yelp sent us here. We had a great late lunch and terrific service. Brazwells was busy on a Saturday afternoon with the back deck (overlooking a parking lot!) completely full with football fans cheering for the game, including one idiot with a megaphone. We had great attention from Ryn who was smiling, cheerful and attentive. She was sincere and pleased to be serving us which was really pleasant and helped make a great meal even better. My eye was drawn to the "Mile High Club" which was a traditional club sandwich with the usual three layers of bread plus turkey and ham and bacon and such. Delicious with just the right amount of mayo. Fries on the side were cooked properly and tasty. Mrs. K. had the fish and chips. A big piece that she enjoyed with a crispy batter and a side of cole slaw plus tartar sauce. She did let me have a bite and it was great. I was visiting Charlotte for a lacrosse game and at the recommendation of Yelp, we decided to try out this restaurant. It has indoor seating and an outdoor patio with music playing and lots of televisions around playing different sports. A huge bar towards the middle of the restaurant. Overall, a really fun vibe. We sat indoors, because it was a bit chilly. We were seated at our table and greeted by LIT (who was our waitress) She was very friendly, knowledgeable and very cool. She provided suggestions on the menu, got our drinks and food to us right away. We had to leave shortly and she just made sure we had everything we needed. Even brought me a cup to go. We ordered a salmon salad which was beyond delicious. Also, a burger with fries, and French toast (yes, they have a brunch menu) So that was great. I stopped by here with my family while walking around the other day. It was a nice and easy place to go relax and grab a beer and some fries. Perfect for me to rest my knee for a few and have a beer with the family! I feel like this would be a pretty awesome place to go and catch some football games when in season. The service for sure. They walked by me numerous times without asking if I wanted anything. I happen to work across the street and my boss was sitting at the bar. I had to text her to ask her to ask the bartender to serve us. Then the food comes out. The broccoli it's clearly old yellow around the tips. I tell my server that I wasn't happy with the broccoli and she tells me the manager said that's how it is. Now my date asked for a manager and the manager comes and says he knew nothing about it so the someone is lying then he proceeded to say the kitchen is closed 1 can take $3 off. This is another place I wish I would have been to sooner. I have driven by multiple times and have eaten at many of the other nearby places but for some reason never went in. The pub is cute and has a nice old school feel. The service, food, and drinks were all good and not crazy expensive like so many other places. Came here for brunch with two friends. We were seated immediately on the patio (it was beautiful out!) they had TVs on out there and music playing and it was good vibes. The patio filled up relatively fast and everyone seemed to be having a great times I got the breakfast burrito and home fries and it was delicious! I had planned to save half for later as I usually don't eat heavy but it was too enticing to put down! Our server was friendly but she didn't come around often. My friend got up to use the restroom and asked if she came back to order him a new drink. She hadn't come in that time. A few minutes later I did the same - and she was in the hallway on her phone. When I walked by again she was no longer there - but still hadn't come back to our table. We tipped nicely because she was good when she was present, but we definitely would've spent more on drinks had she come by more often. But we were there again that same weekend so I know we will be back in the future! read more

Not the Atmosphere This Bar is Known For I've been coming to Brazwells for a long time because it's a great spot for sports, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere. However, recently, they decided to air The Bachelor on Monday nights--with sound--over the usual game-day coverage and music. This is not what this bar is known for, and from what I observed, no one in the crowd was happy about it. Multiple customers voiced their frustration, yet the manager insisted on keeping it on despite clear dissatisfaction. People come here for sports and a lively bar vibe, not to be forced into watching a reality dating show. Hopefully, they reconsider this decision and prioritize what their actual customer base wants. read more

The food took a bit longer to come out, but overall we had a good meal. We both got burgers and the drinks were moderately priced as well. Randomly found this place on IG and popped in on a Monday. The drinks were on the "lighter" side and perhaps I'm used to the heavier pours, but I wasn't impressed. We had the sundrop it like it's hot and it tasted like a slushy- with zero hint of alcohol. Decided to give the peach shot a try ( $5 shot of the month), recommended by our waitress, and it tasted like juice. The fries we ordered to snack on was mediocre, but it was great to have something to nibble on while chatting. We ended up leaving soon afterwards. Would I return? Maybe on the weekend to try out their specials. Would I recommend this place to someone else? Probably not. The only truly great thing about this place was the service. Stopped by this restaurant this week while walking around in the neighborhood. It's a great little stop. I got the fish and chips (which I forgot to take a picture of) and my husband got the Smokehouse burger which he really enjoyed. Honestly if you just want to get the fries, then go for it. Stopped by here for a work lunch with some coworkers. Food is typical bar/pub style food with some Southern influences. They have daily specials for lunch and drinks specials for after work. Food quality here was decent and everything was pretty tasty. Went to Brazwells while visiting family in Charlotte. Everyone was very nice, but extremely slow. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer, entrees were: buffalo chicken wrap (my mom said it was very good and the spice was just right), chicken tenders (my nephew said it was good), chicken pita (he said it was pretty good), I had the fish and chips (mine was to be desired. It was very little fish and a lot of fried batter that was a little bit over cooked) everything including the appetizer took longer than 30 minutes to come out. I would come back, but definitely would not get the fish and chips again. Not sure if the slow service was just a fluke or if it's always like this. read more
