Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the day they wanted me to come in, so Margie went out of the way to open shop for me to come in on a Sunday. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciative! Margie was super professional, and she gave me advice on what fits my lashes the best. I couldn't have agreed with her more! Punchline: the business didn't honor the terms of a Groupon (they asked for additional payment to provide full services of the Groupon). Also, the address is wrong and it doesn't look like mgmt has taken any steps to correct or help customers find the correct location. See below if you want the full story... New in town and looking to find "my places" for things nails, hair, waxing, etc. I see a Groupon that was about 70% discounted from normal prices -- which is large discount, but that's the way Groupon works, offer a big discount to reel in new clientele and then wow them so they keep coming back. Well, I don't think anyone explained that to managers/owners of Brazilian Wax Studios. The Groupon clearly states that is for a Brazilian Wax. A Brazilian Wax is defined as removing hair from front and back. Additionally, Brazilian Wax Studios' own website has the service listed with the definition, "take off as much it as little hair as you want," and has the service listed at the same price as what Groupon values the service (before discount). So I'm thinking, great discount, low stakes way to see if I like this place and want to come back. So I pulled the trigger and bought it. The day of the appointment, the person that checks me in is very nice and asks me if I found them through Groupon. I confirm that I did and she proceeds to explain how the Groupon works -- which is odd because Groupon is pretty up front, you buy a service that is clearly defined on the Groupon at a discount, present the Groupon at the merchant, and receive the service that was defined in the Groupon. She lets me know that because the Groupon price is so discounted, the service would only be for the front and that if I wanted the back, that would be an extra amount. I argue that Groupon is for a "Brazilian Wax" not a "Full Bikini Wax." She explains that the Brazilian Wax normally does include both front and back but that her manager made the decision to charge extra for the back when customers have a Groupon. What?! You sell a Groupon for something and then decide that you priced it too low and therefore will only provide half the service you promised?! The additional amount was small and reasonable...it would have resulted in services that were 50% off retail value. It's not the price that I take issue with, it's the principle...don't offer me a dozen eggs and then tell me I can only get six eggs after I've already paid. Either update the price on Groupon to be what you think is appropriate or change the description to match the services actually being offered. Anything else is dishonest and manipulative and I don't what to do business with merchants that operate that way. I declined service, let the person know what a horrible experience this had all been and walked out. The person checking me in continued to be very nice so kudos to her but mgmt decisions negated all of that. In fairness, I didn't receive service so I cannot comment on skill for waxing. I have asked for a Groupon refund. We'll see how that turns out. read more

She made me feel comfortable during the procedure and gave me beautiful brows that I no longer have to draw in myself. The salon was beautiful, clean, and modern. I heard about this place from GROUPON. Sadly, I wish I hadn't. I get there and someone was sitting at the podium on their phone. This person then asked who I was, I stated I had an appt, she then says I need to pay prior to receiving service. I explained I did with GROUPON. She then says oh let me go clean the room, she literally only changed the table paper snd that's it. Didn't wipe the table clean or anything. She was very rude and unprofessional. I think she's never waxed before either because any waxer knows you rip that sh** off like a band-aid!!! She didn't. She covered me in waxed and put a long piece of cloth over it, ripping in small, painful strokes. She got wax all over me and my clothes too. She missed a lot of hair and I made her aware of this and she told me I got what I paid for. Smh how did I get what I paid for when there are patches of hair still left behind. I had a pretty disappointing experience here. This studio has a Groupon which is how I heard about it. I bought the voucher and scheduled an appointment only to be told upon arrival that vouchers can only be used on Wednesday. I paid full price and was told by the owner that the next time I came back I could use my voucher since it wasn't communicated or put anywhere on the deal page. I purchased another voucher and didn't realize it was for the same place until I got to the studio. I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment time before I could even speak to anyone because there was only one technician there. I guess it's normal to wait 45-60 minutes past your appointment to be seen because the other ladies waiting didn't seem to be bothered. When I could finally talk to the technician I was told that the owner wrote that I am not to have my voucher honored the next time I came in. I'm very disappointed that the deals purchased could not be used either time. The prices are great at this studio and the service is fine but the communication is horrible and I will not be returning for that sole reason. My money and my time was wasted. read more

I called and made an appointment for a Valentine's day special promo of 19.99 asked if had to buy presale or if I can pay in person, I was told I can pay in person. When I arrived for my appointment I was then informed I couldn't pay in person at that rate and told it was 49 dollars "special". Bought a groupon for their waxing services. First of all, it's kinda scary buying a Groupon for a wax at a spot with no reviews. But I went out on a limb because I don't have a spot I visit regularly for waxing here. Scheduling an appointment online was very easy. You can even cancel or reschedule online as well. And I didn't have any issues using my Groupon. This place is tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza. The esthetician was very professional, knowledgeable, and nice. And she did a great job! This was my very first ever Brazilian Wax and I was actually very pleased with how it came out, it was Semi painful but she made up with the music and she also made conversation to keep me distracted, over all the entire thing only took 15 min.
