Numbers Crunchers gets the job done. Nothing fancy, but why should it be?…read more Once upon a time I was able to navigate the tax form quagmire on my own until that first time I found myself keeping a dictionary nearby to look up a common English word in the hopes there was some obscure definition that when the word was used in that context, would unlock the madness. Who writes these forms anyway? Thanks Torquemada. A twisted version of your legacy lives on. Number Crunchers is a one-woman shop, or perhaps a one-family shop might be a more apropos description. Melody, the boss, does the tax returns, but is assisted by the accountants (who are likely CPAs by now) who also happen to be family, or soon-to-be-family. When you walk in, the first person you'll see might be her husband/office manager. Numbers Crunchers is thorough, delivers the work when promised, and because it's a small business, will only accept a certain number of clients in order to be certain to deliver the best service. Like most things in NC, Numbers Crunchers is higher in price than its counterparts from other states in my experience, but compared with other tax preparers in the area, Numbers Crunchers pricing is reasonable and there won't be any hidden charges for the basic tax returns.

I have used her services since 2013 and she has been nothing but helpful. My former accountant got me audited by the IRS in 2011 and 2013 due to silly mistakes. She fixed the errors. DO NOT GET INSURANCE FROM THIS AGENCY!!!! I was with this…read moreagency for 3 years and last week when I needed help and called Brian, he was rude, condescending and arrogant. I had 2 other people on my policy that I needed removed. Brian however refused to take them off my policy said they had to be on their parents policies (which wasn't an available option) and offered me no assistance on how to fix my situation. Every hoop he gave me to get them off I jumped through and every time I did he came up with another excuse to not let them off (I'm guessing because it significantly dropped my premium and he didn't want to give up that $$) With that being said I called Progressive myself, the woman on the line there told me every thing he said was a lie and that unless you are under investigation on a claim you can add or remove people at any time. So the woman there took the other 2 people off and switched my agent!!
