Toward the end of last year when we had to add our new baby boy to our health insurance, we went straight to Ray, knowing he would give us options with the best rates and coverage, and he indeed, delivered. If you're like us, you're probably paying for Homeowner's Insurance throughout the year via an additional amount on your mortgage, which is put into Escrow. Again, like us, you enjoy the convenience of allowing the mortgage company to pay the insurance from this Escrow account, so you don't have to think about yet another large bill (hello, property taxes) every year. If this sounds like you, CALL CAROLINA INSURANCE GROUP, because you're probably overpaying! We have the same coverage we've always had, but after asking Ray to price some Homeowner's Insurance for us, we're paying $800 LESS per year! We still don't have to worry about an extra bill, since it's built into our mortgage payment, but we're now paying less on that bill every month (without even refinancing)! You owe it to yourself and your family to make sure you're not overpaying on your insurance. Think about what you could do with that extra cash each month!

My car sat for weeks before a tow even came out, let alone any plans for how to fix it. I would never have expected a major insurance company to put me through this. I wish I never switched from GEICO. This was hell. Not only that but the shop they took my car to scratched my car, chipped my mirror in 2 places and gave it back to me with a non-functioning window on top of all that. And when I tried to get them to fix it they said the insurance would need to take ANOTHER deductible fee because what the shop did is separate from the initial crash. I'm considering filing a small claim against Calliber Collision, State Farm's "preferred" shop. And as for State Farm, I'll be switching from them soon. Any other company would be better than this. The sales staff is great and will try and get the best price for you. I was not even with the company for a couple of months before I had to file a few claims, 1 home and 2 auto claims, all within a weeks time. The auto claims were made at the same time as a drunk driver totaled 2 of my autos parked in the driveway at the exact same time. The insurance adjuster was nice and set me up in a rental right away. I kept the rental for about 6 weeks. That was much better that what Nationwide would have done, because my neighbor has them, and as soon as their claim was settled, they took the rental back the same day, even before the check was cut. With the claim department, the said that even after I cash the check, if I find evidence that my vehicle was worth more, just to send them the info, and they would add it to my claim. That was good customer service on their part.
