Dr. Bhatia is the most caring, attentive and helpful Psychiatrist I've seen. He is completely…read moreengaged in our conversations. I do not feel like he will have to "check my chart" to know who I am. He makes me comfortable enough to just be myself. Instead of editing my answers based on what I think he's comfortable with (like I have in the past with my psychiatrist). He's open to questions about the best ways I can improve my life strategies, big or small. I know mine will improve, now that I have his unbiased astuteness. It's hard to come across a doctor who actually cares. I'm so grateful I found him!

If you're looking for a dangerous, negligent psychiatric practice, look no further than Elevate…read morePsychiatry. My experience here has been filled with administrative incompetence, medical negligence, and a blatant disregard for patient care. This practice appears to prioritize profits over patient well-being, leaving itself wide open to legal liability. The issues began immediately with billing errors. I was repeatedly overcharged for visits due to misinformation about my co-pay, which required me to fight for refunds. While frustrating, this was just the beginning compared to the negligence in my psychiatric care. Dr. Sused Hidalgo prescribed a medication for my diagnosis, but when my insurance didn't cover it, the pharmacy suggested an alternative. She issued a new prescription within minutes--without reviewing my chart or evaluating if it was appropriate for my condition. When I raised concerns, I found out Elevate had never even obtained my medical records from my previous psychiatrist. Despite completing a HIPAA form and requesting the transfer myself, they failed to follow through. Dr. Hidalgo prescribed medication without access to my medical history, and when I pointed this out, she dismissed my concerns, stating we could "discuss it during the next visit." There was no accountability or acknowledgment of the potential harm caused by this negligence. In search of better care, I was assigned to Dr. Dolores ("Doly"). Her approach was even worse. Despite providing her with genetic testing results showing which medications would likely work for me, she dismissed them as mere "suggestions." When I reported severe side effects from her prescribed medications--worsening anxiety, sedation, and erratic behavior--she refused to adjust the treatment plan. Dr. Doly also made bizarre and offensive comments, such as: "Depressed people don't wear makeup. I recommend some women wear makeup to feel better." "I don't believe in bipolar II. Depression is just a side effect of bipolar, and I think you're bipolar I." Her assessments were conducted entirely via Telehealth, which is not permitted for diagnosing and treating complex conditions like bipolar disorder. This is unethical and a violation of medical guidelines. On July 12, I sent a detailed email to the owner, Mr. Bhatia, outlining these issues. Despite following up with voicemails, I never received a response. My last appointment was on October 31, and as of December 10, no one from the practice has reached out. This lack of follow-up makes it clear they only care about money, not their patients' health. Elevate Psychiatry's negligence includes: * Medical malpractice: Prescribing medications without proper evaluation or access to my medical records. * HIPAA violations: Failing to request or obtain my previous medical documentation. * Insurance fraud: Overcharging me despite confirmed coverage. * Negligent Telehealth practices: Diagnosing and treating complex conditions remotely without required in-person evaluations. This practice is not just incompetent, but dangerous. If you value your health, avoid Elevate Psychiatry. I have documented proof of every interaction to support my claims. I feel so strongly about advising others to avoid this practice that I have written multiple reviews across platforms, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and made two separate reports to the Florida Department of Health (DOH) and HIPAA. I want to be very clear that this is not slander, libel, harassment, or defamation. This is my honest experience, and my only intention in sharing it is to warn others and hope that Elevate Psychiatry will make serious changes to avoid causing harm to more patients.

This is not your typical treatment where you're made to "feel good". (Though I always do personally feel better after a session here). You won't get an empty promise of being "cured" after XX number of days from the day you start. You will face each of the issues that brought you to this point, over time and at a healthy pace. Slowly unraveling and healing the tapestry of your life. And more than likely learn something about yourself that you did not already know. Juan, the head therapist, group leader and founder, is very patient. He will evaluate you as you are now and help you to face life, and to remain present in the here and now. A rare gem in Miami.

I found The Adaptive Center to be a refreshingly nuanced, honest, and engaging way of approaching not only addiction, but also life. Not only did I not dread going to meetings, I very much looked forward to the possible psychological and/ or philosophical, topics of conversation during group meetings lead by Juan Lesende. Last but not least, Travis Proffitt made the administrative process as painless as possible, and was a constant source of information and guidance- even making himself available via test message at any time to answer questions related to scheduling appointments, filling prescriptions, housing, and even legal matters. I recommend the Adaptive Center as strongly as possible to anyone (including family) considering it as a treatment option.

My first visit with Dr. Dinetz proved that I was with the right doctor. Finally a doctor willing to do the work to find the source of my problems and find solutions together that would work towards improving my overall health. The level of care and detail he provides is like no other. I never realized it was possible for me to feel and look this great inside and out. I honestly didn't know any better until I met Dr. Dinetz. It's an entire lifestyle change that I am grateful for and preventative measures that possibly saved my life. Not to mention the added benefits of the weight I've lost, how great my skin is looking and other things I've been self conscious about for years lol. Doctors like him are the future of medicine. I've come such a long way thanks to his care.

I would NOT recommend going to this guy. Even before I met him, I had concerns. I overheard him…read moretalking to patients on the phone, and about patients with his staff very rudely. He seemed pompous. Then when I met him, something was definitely "off." He did not seem like someone who cared- I did not feel safe and i questioned whether he was an actual MD. He is not like any I've been to. The initial intake was $1000, then they took blood work and did not let me know it would be another $1000 and then gave me a $500 list of supplements I should purchase from them. Then he offered a "precision plan" which was $12k for 6months for essentially just checkups. My assessment was that this guy doesn't really care about getting people healthy (regular, not wealthy people) but rather preying on people who are dumb enough to fall for all these costs. I got out of there as soon as I could. After I read the reviews about him and that reinforced everything my gut was telling me. Wish I would have read them before wasting $1000 on a consult. This is predatory medicine for people without insurance.
