Because of several autoimmune…read moreconditions that took a heavy toll on my dental health, I had spent years feeling incredibly self-conscious and uncomfortable even cracking a smile. Finally, I decided to go in for a smile makeover, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Matt was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. He was patient, kind, and genuinely caring, taking the time to understand my health history and my concerns without any judgment. His entire team is equally as impressive and often even went out of their way to accommodate my special needs. Let's be real, it's hard to feel comfortable in a dentists office but I actually was truly comfortable. In the end they all found a way to make the process fun and exciting, not scary or traumatic. So now, for the first time in a long time, I feel confident and happy when I look in the mirror. If you're looking for a team that combines high-level skill with true compassion, look no further than Matt and the team at Packard Dental! They are the best!

Dr. Zorro is excellent at her job: highly skilled, kind, and thoughtful. She treated me like a family member and has conservative recommendations which I really appreciated. She's not trying to get your money - she's only looking to take care of you and be your advocate. She's done many procedures for me, with kindness and excellent expertise. She makes you feel safe. Love her! Ivette is my hygienist and she is wonderful!! She did a deep cleaning for me and beforehand I was very nervous. But for the first time, this deep cleaning was painless. I didn't feel a thing and she consistently asked me if I was comfortable, if I needed anything, etc. Her bedside manner was excellent, she is so empathetic. She also used a special laser device to kill bad bacteria - this office has such cool technology. They even have a device that can tell if you have sleep apnea! The deep cleaning went by quickly because Ivette was so wonderful and gentle. She works fast and effectively. I can't say enough good things about her and this office. Recommend 10/10 on every level!!

Dr Raven is very warm, friendly and detail oriented. I was really grateful when she helped me with my dental implant screw. She's a very good listener and addressed all my concerns and fixed the issue that day and it's been perfect since. Also, the cleaning she did was very thorough and gentle. Felt like the best cleaning I've ever had. The dental assistants/hygienists are all so nice as well. Super kind, sweet and easy to talk to. While this doesn't seem to be a 100% biological dentist since they offer fluoride for those who want it - we do still enjoy the quality of care here and I love that the office is always very clean. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I enjoy my visits. Perhaps most importantly, I really appreciate their approach and model for service - they do not recommend unnecessary procedures. How a business can decline so rapidly is beyond me…read more (Last week in August, 2022) A crown that they had put on had broken from something I bit into. I called and they fit me in to fix it. When he was replacing the broken crown, he told me that the tooth next to it is damaged as well but they don't have enough time to fix it. I told them that I was going on a cruise for my birthday and that I'll be back when I return. So he informed me that as they've gotten busy, it's best to make an appointment. I made an appointment for when I got back. Upon my return, I wasn't feeling well and tested positive for Covid. I called them to cancel my appointment and informed that I'll call back as soon as I test negative and feel better. (Mid September 2022) Couple of weeks later, I call to make an appointment for the other tooth. The receptionist tells me that I need to come in to get checked prior to them doing anything to my tooth. As I explain that I was just there and I am calling to follow up on a particular tooth that the dentist wanted to fix. She giggles as if I'm telling her a joke and repeats that they won't work on me until I come in for an initial check up. I was completely baffled at the lack of professionalism, memory and respect for a long time patient. I was so agitated that I asked for the dentist to talk to me as I'm thinking he'll remember and be more professional. Receptionist (still giggling) says he's busy and will call me back. About 30 minutes later, he calls. Like a broken record, he repeated everything the receptionist said while I hear the receptionist giggling in the background. It was so unprofessional and quite frankly I felt completely betrayed. I initially began coming to this practice because of Tina Saw (dentist) as I felt we bonded and I liked her work and personality. But since 2020, it's been the husband. Although I preferred Tina, I kept getting him and got used to him out of necessity. The difficulty I had post Covid was the changing staff who no longer knew or recognized long time patients, the revolving receptionists who don't hear what you're saying and the severity of the decline in professionalism. I felt so betrayed that there's no way I could return. After being a long time patient, they were trying to squeeze in an extra visit to bill my insurance for an issue that they already pointed out and told me needed fixing. Few months later, I got a text to call to make an appointment which I ignored. The final nail in the coffin was when the same receptionist called me couple of weeks ago (before the end of the year for billing issues) to let me know I need to come in to get the other tooth fixed. I tell her that I'll NEVER GO BACK to that practice. She started laughing as if I told her a joke. Then says bye. Even if they change the receptionist, I wouldn't return for dental care. They squeeze in more check up visits even when the issues have been recognized and an appointment is made. This nickel and dime attitude is horrible! It's hard enough to find time for cleaning, follow ups, check ups and treatment without these additional useless check ups when we already pointed out what the issue is. I basically got punished for canceling post cruise when I had Covid. This type of pettiness is unfortunate and so unprofessional for a dental office. As going to a dentist is stressful enough, I rather go where they know how to treat a client with respect and kindness. Too many options in the area to stay with Elevated Smiles. I, my husband, my friends and nephew will never go back.

She LITERALLY didn't even speak one completel sentence to me the entire time. Quite an unwelcome for a first timer! Dr. Lee was cheerfully greeting and chatting with me. As I laid in the chair facing upward, the overhead light had a visible layer of oil and dust, including a finger print. It grossed me out rinsing in the sink since it looked like the bacterial microorganism have been populated there for sometime as well. **This unsanitary condition is in direct violation of OSHA & EPA guidelines for a dental office. I asked to speak to Dr. Lee privately and brought both issues to her attention. Apparently, another reviewer mentioned that Dr. Lee did the cleaning herself. SECOND VISIT - After receiving a one-week courtesy reminder of my appointment from Stephanie, front desk staff, I called her to reschedule. We discussed quite a bit about my postponement and the timing for the rescheduling appointment, which was supposed to be today! On the dot one week ago, Stephanie called again and spoke to me confirming the rescheduled appointment. I verified my calendar for the appointment and confirmed. I showed up today and was told that my appointment was over a week away. My appointment time, somehow, became someone else's. I showed Stephanie the CALL RECORD on my phone as PROOF that she gave me the call "This is a one-week reminder that you have an appoinment on.....". She completely avoided my inquiry about this call and never acknowledged the mix-up. As a very busy individual, I missed opportunities to take care of some business anticipating this dental appointment. I asked to speak to Dr. Lee, who suddenly became unavailable even though she was just available, so I requested for a call back. Stephanie called me back later stating an apology "for (my) misunderstanding and confusion". And if I wanted to speak to Dr. Lee, it would have to be about treatment, not scheduling. Apparently, Dr. Lee removed herself from being of the business owner to avoid taking care of HER BUSINESS.

I started seeing this dentist over two years ago, I should say practice because their retention rate with dentist here is HORRIFIC. I've had four separate dentist's in a two year time period. I went in for a simple cleaning, was told I had a cavity, was given an enclave. Of which I needed to have replaced four separate times because of how poorly they placed it. My wife went to also have a simple cleaning. They told her the root of one of her teeth was infected. To be specific was having mercury seep into her bloodstream. She had silver fillings. The dentist proceeded to remove such silver and cause a crack in my wife's tooth. Then try to refer her out to an oral surgeon to have the tooth extracted. None of which was covered under our insurance. Upon a second visit with x-rays to a separate dentist shout out DeAngelis family dentistry for being phenomenal!! They are located off Palomar Airport Road. It was explained to me that my first dentist straight out lied. There was no issue with the root of my wife's tooth. In fact, the tooth and the root was perfectly healthy. He just wanted a large out of pocket payment!! Upon calling to have the issue fixed with the first dentist BC THATS HOW INSURANCE WORKS!! We were told the dentist she saw, was not available to fix the problem because he had left the country. True story. The owner of the practice refused to refund me my money. He instead had another dentist correct the first mistake, of which they made my wife wait an hour to be seen. That's 3 hours total of her workday she had to take off to fix a problem that they created, and caused more issues with! THEY ARE CROOKS!
