Fantastic lounge in terms of food and space to recharge you and your electronics. Plenty of outlets…read morealong seating areas. Food options are limited but taste good. Breakfast is eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast. Lunch is cooked vegetables, potatoes, some meatloaf, pasta. Some snack options include cheese, olives, tomatoes. Self serve drinks. Staff kept the lounge tidy.

It was just okay. The best thing I can say was that we were greeted warmly. It was great to be away…read morefrom the busy terminal. The bathroom was clean. The seats were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating. There's an outdoor terrace that overlooks the runway. I know what you're thinking. Nope, there's no smoking allowed on the terrace. I thought that was great. The breakfast was limited. I can only describe it as adequate. It was very basic in terms of taste. The chicken sausage was good. The eggs had a film of water mixed with egg at the bottom of the pan. Nothing really looked great, and nothing was truly warm. The coffee machine was broken. No one seemed happy about that. I guess we hit it on a bad day. There is a soft drink station with 2 liter bottles and a tiny bucket of ice cubes. Needless to say, the 3 ice cubes melted right away. Lol! However, it did cool off the Coke Zero. I'll give it that. I felt like I was in a different time dimension (England in the 1980s). It's what you'd expect from a pub, but not a premium lounge. Yep, Primeclass needs some work. Other than that, I found the Zurich Airport to be quite efficient. It's the lounge that needs to step it up to make it an even better experience. Go there to get away from the hustle & bustle of the terminal, but don't expect much in the way of food.

This was our first time trying out the Swiss lounge in Zurich Airport. At least a guest was…read moreallowed inside unlike the earlier experience at the Aegean Lounge in Athens. Our boarding passes were scanned at entry to validate eligibility as a Star Alliance Gold. Once inside to the left was the whiskey bar and to the right was the lounge and food. Whiskey bar was quite busy that late morning but the lounge was less crowded. I liked that they had a dedicated ticket/passport validation area that eliminated the check at the gate. The row of free magazines to take away was along the main aisle underneath the 2D carving showing most of the mountains in Switzerland. The lounge was bright and windows ran down the length of both sides. The furniture was modern and comfortable. The buffet area was spacious with self and chef served food options. Chef served lunch offered beef, curry chicken or vegan bolognese choices. Beef involtini was rich and tender with a very creamy side of mashed potatoes. Drinks were plentiful with a large selection of self serve alcohol and wine, soda dispensers and a couple self service coffee machines with an extensive menu to pick from. The most unusual drink made from the Ricola drink cube - Raspberry flavor (odd tasting but hard to reconcile with my cough drop image for Ricola). Staff were always visible cleaning up or replenishing the food. If needed then showers were available. Definitely would come back next time I'm flying out of Zurich.

Nice lounge. I visited early in the morning around 7 am during a layover. I was able to book one of the nap rooms and take a quick nap before my next flight. I was given a small blanket and pillow, so this was a really nice experience since I was exhausted and the lounge in general was so bright. Recommend stopping by.
