Very good food and excellent, helpful service. If I had to change anything I would stress that the beef is grass fed if it is (it seemed to be in terms of texture) and add a good chicken dish. Beverage selection is commendable and comprehensive focused on high quality beer and wine. Though the creme brulee with tonka beans as dessert was a bit too sweet to my taste it was otherwise superb and I would order it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

I had the Ribs which were very good, along with the Fries (there's something about Dutch mayo that makes fries even better). There arent alot of other options in the area, but if you find yourself in town, definitely make this a must eat.

These were driest nachos dish I have ever tried. There was maybe one spoonful of meat on the entire plate and similar went for the salsa. The guac was not fresh but definitely came out of some kind of container. Other food on the table did not seem to be any better. I tried my husband's steak which was not the best cut and kind of tough. They also did not prepare it medium-rare like he requested, but just medium. Several people had fries which were just OK - the "Snacks" fast food place in the same building serves better quality. My mother-in-law had the chicken salad which was pretty much half a head of lettuce plus a few chicken stripes all drenched in Cesar dressing. Not impressed.

The restaurant was very good. The menu had some interesting traditional-US dishes, which was unexpected. All the food was very good. I had french onion soup and enjoyed it. They recommended the spare ribs, which (given the location) were surprisingly good, and a big portion (near full rack -- I couldn't finish). Good tap selection. If you're staying in the hotel (which I recommend) the breakfast is very euro, and real good. Fresh OJ machine and the "typical" selection of meat/cheese/breads/pastries.

Pros: - The Grill. - The herb butter. - The specials. And since I am a sucker for locally produced ingredients I must recommend more than any other item the 21 days dry aged entrecôte "De Betuwe". - Grilled Tuna with coriander mayo is the way to go when choosing from the fish menu! - Nice and accommodating staff but when packed the service slows up...but still forgiveable as well as forgettable! Cons: - 3 Course menu could offer beef! - Cosy but tend to be very noisy. - Pork is so so here: having it on the 3 course menu it has been tested by friends a lot and sometimes it is dry.

If you're here with a group of friend, I do recommend getting the "Borrelplank van de Markt" or the "Mixed Platter" to share. You get to try some local bites this way. The difference is that the mixed platter also contains fried foods. This place came highly recommended by our tour guide.
