They're not stingy with the food availability & have seafood, chicken, beef, pork & lamb. All great eating & easy for the restaurant goer to make ready & eat hot & delicious! This is a definite "recommend" from me.

Personal was unfriendly, concerned enough to have their work done, hurrying you from A to B, then B to C. None of them smiled. You feel exasperation when you want something repeated : on different occasions, I tried Dutch, German, English. Explanations given to Laser Show lasted 90 seconds because we asked to repeat, instead of the promised 10 min introduction. The kids had fun but I did feel sorry for my friend who invited all of them : it means quite an amount of money to spend. It leaves a bitter taste, when you, 2 1/2 hours long, feel treated as a problem to be solved, rather than as a guest. My message to Taurus : if such groups are a nuisance, then open later and do not advertise for kids and teenagers !

I am an easy grader so why the hell not 5 stars? Well... I am also rather cheap…read more Let's start with the good: The food. I had the mixed grill - a plate of lamb, beef, chicken and ground beef plus grilled vegetables. all taste and well cooked. The restaurant is upstairs and you have a nice view of the Leidseplein square down below and I like the interior. Everything is cooked with the big green egg (hence the name) and it was really tasty. They also serve the Brouwerij 't IJ IPA beer which I became a fan of. Service was very friendly, and reasonably fast (I was not in a hurry). So the prices are on the high side (we spend about 40 € per person for food and a couple of drinks) which puts me off a little, but if your in town and look for a good meal then by all means: go here.
