I don't know much about the salon nor do I maintain my hair in that way. I wanted to be adventurous, my daughter n law had her colored at another location with Mikayla. I booked with Mikayla- my hair needed work, color grays meanwhile I wanted highlights and some colored pink strands. I went for a cut. I was very specific. Cut off two inches, shorter in the back, and angled longer in the front. And her response, shoulder length? Yes! I ended up with an old lady's haircut, four fingers above my shoulders, and, of course, longer in the back. I had an appointment on WEDNESDAY for color with Frankee . I called her cell on Sunday prior to the appointment to reschedule as I had something to do on a business matter. I gave her my phone number to call me back. By late Monday she still didn't return my phone call so I called again and left a message. So today Tuesday I called the salon and told the woman on the phone the situation. Well she got a bit of an attitude saying well we are not able to accommodate your schedule. We are all booked. My answer to her was I never got call back to even speak to Frankee to reschedule. I am done with unprofessional manner with both Frankee and the woman at the salon. I will go elsewhere. I first visited this salon four months ago while visiting family. I have long hair and asked the receptionist who would be best to do my highlights. I've learned over the years that some stylists are better with long hair than others. The receptionist immediately suggested Samantha and so I made an appointment with her. She did a fantastic job, maybe the best I've ever had. She's very personable and kind, but if you don't want to chat she's cool with that too. Long hair like mine takes hours to do properly and she really took her time and was patient. Everyone complimented me on my hair and the cost was a fraction of what I would have paid back in Seattle. Fast forward to today. I'm back in the area much sooner than I expected and my hair was ready for another styling. So glad I was able to secure another appointment with Samantha. Recently relocated to area so searching for new hair salon, in particular, someone who could make me look 10 years younger with a short perky cut. Best source - asking someone in a Tiki Bar where they get their hair cut - seemed like a good idea at the time but I was wrong - Great Idea! Ashley is the best - she admittedly is ADD and she makes sure that you are happy before you leave. I told her my quirky request - no straight lines - and she quickly accommodated - I did not go home and redo my hair which fascinated hubby to no end. My first couple of hair cuts with Kristy (the owner) were OK, but my third time was a disaster. She gave the worst haircut ever! I only needed a trim, but she chopped it up so badly that it will take me 6 months to get it back to wear it looks half way decent. Stay away from her. She clearly can't focus on what she's doing. read more
