Please see update********…read more They say, if you walk into a salon and love the hair-do on the stylist you've found your salon. I've found my salon! I first found Tammy, my massage therapist. I searched yelp, google then Facebook (being new to the area) and Tammy's name popped up quite a bit. I called and we set the appointment. Tammy is very kind and wants you to get the most out of your treatment so she reviews your needs prior to your massage then during to ensure you're happy. I have myalgia so not all days are the same but Tammy works with me and I appreciate her very much. As I was leaving she helped me schedule my hair color appointment with Angela the following week. I brought her a photo and I absolutely love the color. She was spot on! We didn't cut yet I go Monday. I'll try to remember to do a follow up. I know I won't be dissatisfied though. The shop is in a mini strip mall but not a chain!!! The decor is so welcoming and beautiful. Beverages are available as well. (But not offered. You must ask-communication is a bit of an issue here. I checked in and sat 20 minutes because my stylist claimed she didn't see me walk in behind her) *******UPDATE******* still LOVE Tammy for massages! Still recommend her highly. It was a a very tough decision - I've moved on to another salon. My original visit was for TAMMY and she recommended upon my request a stylist. My hair is very think and coarse and I needed someone that didn't upcharge me after quoting me on 2 separate occasions. I wasn't in love with my hair as I kept telling myself it is growing out. I do love my new salon but seeking a new massage therapist. (Also, the fact that it's been at least two months and no one has called to see why I left left a bad taste as well!)

If you need anything even remotely advanced, do not go here. Their hair stylists have like 3 years…read moreof experience and they'll say yes to literally anything to take your money. I wanted my icy platinum (extremely damaged) hair refreshed with a root touch-up and to get k-tips. Now, please keep in mind that the entire back layer of my hair is like 3 inches long from breakage. Any respectable hair stylist would have just said no, and I realize that now. But not Mirage. The photos speak for themselves. The first several are the way she initially sent me home, which is just laughable lol. The next ones are after she "fixed" it i.e. just took the super visible bonds out, but there's still absolutely no blend and it looks atrocious. I went somewhere else to have them taken out and this stylist was utterly appalled not only that they did this service at all with my hair in its current condition, but the technique was extremely sloppy and so tight I was getting sores on my scalp. I asked for a partial refund for the extensions and they refused, so I disputed it with my bank. Also, they lifted my roots to straight up YELLOW and told me to just "use purple shampoo" as if it works that way. You didn't lift it enough... at least they refunded me for that part. ALSO, they charged me $1300 for hair that I later found out costs like $700, they just pocketed the extra. Like ok... Unless you are getting something extremely simple done, AVOID.

I did my research on a couple of places in the area, and this one's modern vibe really stuck out. Madison returned my call and texted me her instagram so I could see her work and it was FLAWLESS. She had a way with blending blondes that looked natural. Once I sat in her chair, I knew she knew exactly what she was doing. Madison was up to date on trends, and understood the cohesive look I was going for. Unfortunately my budget was dwindled, but she worked with me and made MAGIC!!
