Wow! Maybe the first sustainable shop I've seen in New England thus far, amazing…read more This store is sustainable and eco friendly home goods based in downtown Newburyport. You'll want to walk out of the store with everything you see from baskets to dish towels to refillable shampoo/cleaning products and all the local home-made goods you can imagine. The mother daughter owners are AWESOME and I'm so lucky to have known them from their other local endeavors, previously Goose Chase Baking and Souffles Coffee / Kitchen shop. Their taste is exquisite and they promise to source their goods from eco friendly companies. A great place to feel a little bit better about shopping for cute things and making a better impact on the environment. Bring in your own containers and fill up your cleaning suppies, beauty supplies and bathroom essentials! Hooray. This comment may not do the place enough justice for how cute it is, but just check The Boston Globe or Northshore mag to see more details. Better yet, stop in for yourself!!!!

Being…read moreconsignment, the prices are a bit higher than your Target or Walmarts, but you know you're getting a present that is a lot more unique. It will also benefit a local artisan. Only thing I can say is, I wish the place was larger, so I could see more items. Location is convenient for me, but it is in the middle of East Kingston, so there isn't any other shops around. It's a hidden jewel. Follow their Facebook page to see new items without having to stop in all the time. It's a great way to see what's new and going to peak your interest. They also, from what I was told, do coupons in the Valpak envelope. I've never seen them though. Check this place out!

Spent an hour or so here 4 days beofre Christmas on a Sunday and what a refreshing change of pace. First of all, the owner, Kelly is super nice. The store is anchored by her Soy Solace candles she makes. All sizes and different scents make them an awesome part of the so tore. Then there are lots of little sections with handmade items from local crafters/artisans. Left there w a lovely handmade wood/antler pen, some ice cream toppings (maple walnut and another), and crocheted little towel. And a big jug of homemade laundry detergent. This is the type of store you walk in and say "Ahhhh". Relaxing with enough cool stuff for real shopping.
