We were in Seabrook to go visit another store & stopped in here on our way home. Of course it took me longer to go thru this store than my Mom as I like to go down every aisle & check things out. They did have some super cute pink wanna be crock's but my normal size was too big (7/8) & I couldn't find the next size down I was sooo sad. Staff was nice, cashier was Joe (I believe was his/her name) very friendly & happy. A customer spilled a product @ the end of an aisle that I let staff know about & they were on it pretty quickly to clean it up. It's too bad that who ever caused the spill didn't report it to help prevent anyone from getting injured. Another thing that my Mom pointed out that I wasn't happy with was a man had pulled up in front of the store & took his young children out of the car but left his dog inside the car, not running & windows cracked....WTH?!?! I wish I had seen this guy doing that because I would have called him out on that. Does he not realize how much warmer it is inside a car on a hot, humid sunny day as the day he did this was??? It's too bad that he doesn't consider his dog like one of his children. I'd definitely stop in this location next time I'm in the area. Great job guys!!

My experience shopping Dollar Tree conjured visions of insane "merchandising" like a bazillion streamers cascading from the ceiling like a comical human car wash - or departments with ripped open and half empty packages like wolves gone rabid in the Valentine's Day display. Here, I found everything I needed from the world's best mixing bowl that was the perfect size with a measuring spout (so convenient for pouring out a cake mix!), a vegetable peeler, dessert plates and a charming plate decorated with lemons. (Trust me, you'd press your girlfriends where they picked up this cute plate). A vegetable peeler, a potato masher, a whisk, all the things I needed while McGuyver-ing together necessary supplies to make Thanksgiving dinner at my boyfriend's house. Half relief I no longer had to use a Tupperware container to toss salad greens or use a paring knife to peel an entire bag of potatoes (oh wait, he doesn't own a paring knife), I left this Dollar Tree store giddy that I would no longer have but one lone bowl to make dinner. They are not "cheap" if you need to use 6 to get a sturdy plate that won't collapse when you put food on it. The food selection is small but better than nothing. Cleaning products, plastic bags and storage bowls are plentiful. Overall it's worth the trip. Just know that you may not be able to get staff help.

Some stuff you can't trust like the fake tupperware doesn't always hold up, the paper goods sometimes are not the best but might have to do. But the younger ones are apathetic and useless. There's one younger kid who wears glasses and works Sunday nights that's actually pretty good, but the rest are awful. As if the half drank Dunks cups and energy drinks just left on shelves everywhere wasn't bad enough... I went in there about 6:00pm a couple Fridays ago. There were 3 of them sitting on the sidewalk outside on their phones, vaping and doing nothing. There was one register open and at least 10 people in line. I started shopping hoping by the time I was done the line would be shorter. If anything it only grew. Then came the customer who must've been shopping for a birthday party. They had a carriage FULL of little toys and trinkets. As if that wasn't bad enough, then came the always dreaded line...."I need some balloons." I almost lost my sh!t! Nobody even considered calling in one of the zombies from outside. Instead the entire line came to a halt while the customer had to select which balloons they wanted, and the employee had to fill. I ended up putting my items back and left. I will NEVER go back there. I'd rather go to the one on the other side of Haverhill- or just go up the street to 5 Below since the prices are now the same.

I came back this season for more and picked up two beauties. Most, if not all, of their dresses are made in India. Many of them (particularly the ones that I prefer) have intricate weaving and designs and are dyed so vibrantly. The shop owner is very friendly and is enthusiastic about recommending items he thinks you'll like. There are paid lots nearby but also free two hour parking spots on the street right by the store.

Manager told him unfortunately he has to sell to me, then proceeded to berate me in front of 2 lines of customers, saying "Oh, you're one of those Penny Queens. This store is notorious for penny shoppers like you. Well, I'm the new manager now, and that's going to change now that I'm in charge." I told her I guess they'd rather have perfectly good product sitting in a landfill. I let her know that I donate all the items I find for a penny, asked if the store does the same or whether they toss it. She claims she herself donates to veterans. I said GREAT!
