The only thing disappointing about this speakeasy is you walk right up two flights of steps. No password, no hidden entrance, door wide open. Other than that, the building itself is actually from the 1800s(!) and is done up in proper 1930s decor. I had the Slingapore sling, he had a hand crafted cola (lots of spices to decipher).

Not only did they make sure we had cocktails we would love, but we chatted with them for the two hours we were there. They were super personable, and if we were local, we'd be back all the time. They really made our experience! The cocktails were unique and amazing from The pbj espresso martini, to the creamsicle inspired cocktail and the one that reminded me of a pink drink from Starbucks. Regan also made us our own unique cocktail too. They are all super reasonably priced for high quality as well! The speakeasy is adorable. It's upstairs, and there is no password! It was simple to find, and someone greeted us and told us where to go. We were also able to leave our umbrella there since it was pouring when we went. The spot is historical and fun. I loved every part about it. Add this to your must do Savannah list!

I'm in a state of bliss with everything thing I see. Comfy and charming seating and decor. Sweet artwork. THE VIEW OF THE HARBOR ! The paddle boat and tug boats. So delightful. Thanks to all the people who made this possible!!! May our paths cross again.

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

Can say enough, I fully recommend the experience. Drinks were a 10/10. We got the "Fourgasm" which was a cheese cake with sugared berries, carrot cake with figs/dates and nutmeg, a chocolate cake which was next level and a devils food cake. The carrot cake was okay not great, the devils food was so so but the chocolate cake with the Berry Naughty with a dark chocolate rim job. That made that cake wow! So, desserts were part of the experience and feeding one another along with the atmosphere, great spot!

Loved the dark atmosphere and romantic vibes- we only wished we had known about the Friday/Saturday night performances that are offered, so we could've planned better (maybe next time). My hubby ordered the dessert sampler... truthfully, only really would order the cheesecake and chocolate cake- the other two samples were odd tasting (but every palate is different)- just would not order it again. I do think a nice gesture of having a free dessert, being it was our anniversary, would've been nice (just a future suggestion). Street parking available and a game bar is next door, if wanting more fun entertainment after dessert!

We loved it so we came back for another one! I love the Japanese corn, i don't know what sauce they put on it, it's just so delicious. My brother loved the truffle frites and Chirashi. The tuna belly and the special roll with the torched salmon were Chef's kiss! The crispy tuna wasn't my fave, but I know I'll come back if I visit the city next time.

Talk about a frustrating restaurant to find!…read more We were walking along the boardwalk, and I was in the mood for sushi. Naturally, I pulled up Yelp and found this place, which had great reviews. We decided to venture away from the area we had been exploring and walked across the street, only to find ourselves staring at a Chinese restaurant with absolutely no indication of where the sushi restaurant was located. We walked all the way to the right thinking we must have missed it, but still nothing. Then, almost by accident, we looked down an alleyway and there it was--hidden in plain sight. By this point, I was extremely hungry and definitely not in the mood for a game of hide-and-seek. After climbing a flight of stairs, we entered a very dark and intimate space with a small bar area. We usually prefer sitting at the bar, but there weren't any available seats, so the hostess seated us at a tiny round table that felt more like something you'd find in a café. The atmosphere was definitely giving romantic date-night vibes. We ordered two specialty sushi rolls. One was a mango roll, and the other had me sold the moment I saw the word truffle as a special. The truffle roll was easily my favorite, although both were delicious. I also ordered a passion fruit cocktail, which I'd rate a solid 9 out of 10. I don't normally go for sweet drinks, but when on Rome, why not? This was not overly sweet but still one and done for me. Since we were only in town for one night and wanted to experience as many places as possible, we stuck with the two rolls and drinks before heading back out to continue exploring. Overall, this place is incredibly cute, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. My only complaint is how difficult it was to find. If you're starving like I was, wandering around searching for the entrance might test your patience. Once you finally find it, though, it's worth the effort.
