Food was great, I kept it simple with a ham and cheese on a sourdough roll. Good fresh ingredients, very nice staff, and best of all no wait. I'll be back if im in the area.

If you want only the best sandwich ingredients , look no further . Pricing may be amiss for some , but the flavors and the care in which they are made is unmatched , we had Grilled Rueben on sour roll grilled and a pesto turkey panini . All were well worth every penny

My coworker and I came in on Tuesday for sandwiches as we were hit with a power outage and had no cell service hoping we could try to get a cold lunch somewhere. We stoped by this small, familt owned restaurant hoping to get some food! I love how efficient they were to accommodate us while their business had no power! It was cash only, and whatever cold ingredients they had but they moved the line along and got out sandwiches for our group in under 15 mins. They handled the situation so well!

I tried their pick up option online so I could order and pay without waiting. The app even tells when your order is ready. I decided to build my own sandwich and ordered a roast beef and turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch with everything. Picked it up to a friendly greeting and smiles from all of the staff. Took it home to eat and wow this was a huge sandwich and full of ingredients. Unfortunately I noticed quickly it was all turkey and no roast beef. They forgot my meat. I sure hope they get it right next time. I should say that even without my roast beef this was an incredible tasty sandwich. Every bite got better and better. I honestly can say I haven't had a deli sandwich as good as this in a very long time. Probably the best Dutch crunch roll ever and so soft with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness on top. This sandwich was pure heaven and so big but I was hungry and wanted to go right back for another. Still one of the best sandwiches in the Bay Area and I'm so glad there finally in my hometown of Pleasanton. I'll be back soon and very often I guarantee! It's a must try if you're in the area or even if it's a bit of a drive. Tell em Scotty sent you.

The problem I have is the average 45 minute wait times for my food to reach me from when I finished ordering. They are not making complex dishes, they are making sandwiches and have multiple workers working on them. Either, they are not working as efficiently as they could, in respect to their customer's time or how they are managing the orders isn't efficient enough. I would love to come here for lunch but I cannot wait my whole lunch period just waiting on the food and not have time to actually eat it. It's a shame because I actually like the place but it does not cater to time sensitivity for the average working Joe.

I let them know that I did, but nobody ever answers. This leaves me credibly frustrated, and for that reason, I give them a 3. I do enjoy the Italian sub, the Reuben and the classic peppered, Turkey sandwich. They are also very fairly priced. As a whole experience, I give them a 3. I'm hoping when they move to Pleasant Hill. At 3PM I attempted to order 6 sandwiches from the deli department....the guy working there said he was out of rolls! What? Out of rolls at only 3PM? How can ANY huge supermarket run out of rolls? So, I went over to their bread department and found some rolls. He then told me he can not use rolls from their own bread dept to make sandwiches. I made it clear to him I was willing to pay extra for the rolls but he said he couldn't do it. So I went and got the store manager on duty, a nice fellow named John. John was very apologetic about having run out of rolls and he also agreed that his staff should have made my sandwiches with bread from the bread department, given they prematurely ran out of rolls. He went over and spoke to the woman behind the deli counter. She told the Manager that they never said they wouldn't make the sandwiches from alternative bread, it was just that I did not say I would be paying extra for that bread! That was not the truth. When I said to her directly you are not speaking truth to your manager and I said do not put words into my mouth, she insisted I never told the guy back there I'd pay extra for the bread! Who needs such confrontations and frustrations over sandwiches after driving 25 miles each way to buy some? I walked out. We will never be shopping at Lunardi's market again. They sure know how to apply excessive high prices to their goods while at the same time not providing any exceptional customer service! That store has some major issues with their staff and attitude problems. This is the fault of upper management not instructing their underlings what a "premium store experience" should feel like. I certainly could have gotten a more customer friendly, positive experiences from any local Dollar Store, compared to the circus I received at Lunardi's Saturday!
