I was also surprised that you could walk around without worry of knocking over abundant displays of gaudy knick knacks. Instead you will see what in my uncouth opinion were very cool accent items. Not that I have any kind of decorating savvy, but the right person could pick out some decorations that would go well in modern or semi modern rooms. A place like this could even inspire a slob like me to redo a room or two in a way that hipster friends would be proud. I think my favorite items were the various vases and containers that held flowering bulbs or dried flowers. There were also some cool long glass things that little interesting votives(?)or figurines could go on. I guess that these could be changed out according to the season. As another.review correctly reported, you can get custom upholstery done here, and the couches on display were fluffy and tasteful too. While you are here browse the perimeters for clearance items. I actually almost bought a few things, but realized that I need to do so much more in my house before adding decorator touches. The shop is a treasure cave and winds around down the stairs, with intricately decorated rooms dotted with unique pieces and creations. The owner Dominick was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Definitely pay this unique little place a visit if you find yourself in the Doylestown area.

I found a cute little pink and green teapot that made me go "ooh." Be careful to check the price tags to make sure you're paying the right price though! The teapot had a reused price tag with the correct teapot price on one side and another (much higher) price for a different item on the other side. Just make sure they scan the right tag. I also saw some nice little ramekins, but wound up going with the teapot instead. Couldn't stop thinking about the ramekins though, so I started looking online to see if there was anything similar. Turns out both the ramekins and the teapot are available for a cheaper price on Amazon. Not just "similar" items--the exact same ones. Felt a little swindled, but at the same time I guess I'm supporting a local business. Still, it would be nice if they offered products that are more unique and not just off Amazon with a new price tag. If I go back I'll definitely do my homework first.

$25,000... for TWO Christmas Trees?!…read more I don't normally blast a business on social media, but this one... this one deserves it. And honestly, I need to vent before my head explodes like an overinflated ornament. As many of you know, my wife and I recently moved into a big, beautiful new home. So, wanting to do something special for her first Christmas in it, I decided to surprise her by having the inside professionally decorated for the holidays. The plan was simple: we'd walk up to the front door after our Thanksgiving cruise, she'd see a single elegant wreath, open the door, and BAM--Christmas magic. Hallmark-movie level brilliance. Something she'd remember forever. Well... she'll remember it. Not in a good way. I found a company online called Black Eyed Susan in Doylestown. I spoke with Susan herself -- and in hindsight, the red flags were waving like a parade. But I ignored them, gave her a $25,000 budget, sent photos of the house, arranged access while we were away, and paid a deposit. Fast-forward to the big reveal. We pull up to the house, and instead of holiday wonder... We're greeted by two massive flower pots tipped over on the front steps. Dirt everywhere. My wife is already annoyed. We spend 10 minutes trying to lift the things before realizing the bottoms are ROUND. Not flat. ROUND. Who even designs pots that way? The answer: someone selling overpriced junk. But hey, maybe the inside would redeem things... right? Spoiler alert: it didn't. We open the door expecting Christmas brilliance, and instead--we get... A Christmas tree in the foyer. Just one. And not even a remarkable one. Literally just... a tree. And some droopy, wilted green garland that looked like it had fought a battle with a weed whacker and lost. That's it. For the whole entryway. We turn the corner into the family room, and there's another Christmas tree -- this one comically oversized, like it was trying to escape from a shopping mall. A few random glass balls dangled from the upstairs walkway. Four windows got lonely ornaments. And the mantle -- which on Susan's website looks glamorous and luxurious -- had the saddest strand of wilted garland you've ever seen. I've seen more impressive greenery at Home Depot in JULY. So for $25,000, what did we actually get? Two Christmas trees and some wilted greenery. That's it. That's the whole list. After a few days of trying to reason with Susan the Snob -- who, by the way, speaks to customers like she's hand-selecting decor for the Queen of England -- I realized something: My wife was supposed to get a Hallmark Christmas. Instead, I accidentally hired the villain of the movie. I even tried to be MORE than fair. I told her she could take everything back and keep $10,000 just for her "time." But nope. Susan the Snob decided she wants ANOTHER $5,000 from me. $5,000. For... what exactly? The dirt on my porch? Feel free to tell her what you think of that idea. And finally -- if anyone wants two giant, overbearing Christmas trees for next year... come get them. Free of charge. Because we will NEVER be using them again.

Assuming the store was open, we walked in where a few women were engaged in pleasant conversation. We were barely greeted and looked around the store for 5-10 minutes as we waited for an opportunity to ask a few questions. Once two of the women left, the remaining woman (who we assume is the owner) walked past us and stood with her back toward us, handbag on her arm, and keys in hand. At no point did she state the store was not *actually* open nor ask if there was something she could help us with. We took the hint and left the store...at that point realizing the store was not scheduled to be open. My husband apologized for walking into the store to which she shrugged that it was not a problem. She did not offer for us to come back during real business hours nor if there was something she could assist us with at a more appropriate time. Despite our oversight, the situation could have been handled differently, in a way that was much more courteous by simply letting us know that the store was not open. Instead, she was extremely rude and we will not be returning...neither as a buy nor a seller.

Vic was able to deliver both mattress and box spring the day after purchase. He delivers alone, I suspect, and is quite capable of doing all the work himself, but since you got a good deal on your new mattress, it would be nice to help him if you can (these are MY thoughts btw) He also takes the old mattress and box spring to dispose of, which costs about $35, same as our township, but I don't have to drag it out on big trash day. If any of the big places say they take your old mattress away for free, it isn't true. It has been two weeks since our purchase. I wanted to wait to see how my son liked it. He loves it. Thanks Vic for being so accommodating and for your quick delivery, funny jokes and quality mattress and box spring. We will recommend your store to all.

The owner will tell you that the mattresses are new but they're not they are returns from customers…read morethat are unhappy or old store demos. Most of the mattresses are defective. That's why the price is so cheap. You think you're saving money but in the long run you'll just have to go elsewhere and buy a new mattress. The owner becomes defensive and yells when you question him about his products and will even hassle you trying to sell you a marketing course that he created lol I would stay clear of this place!!!
