I am just disappointed that I didn't visit the place sooner . I am so glad I visited this place finally. We ordered chole bhature , pav bhaji , tikki chaat , dahi bhalle and Jalebi . Everything was so delicious and authentic. Truly loved the flavours and can't wait to go back again , specially for the chole bhature . If you are looking for some good authentic Indian food . You should definitely try this place . Totally recommended. All the safety protocols were taken care of . Parking is just before the restaurant.

Everything tasted sooooo good. Just the timing was insane -- either because short staffed or we went on a Sunday morning. Other than that everything was great.

Desserts were really good. Rasmalai and carrot halwa was super good. Thali was like home cooked food nothing extraordinary. Lassi sweet was the best! Service was good. Ambience was casual.

Best place for a vegetarian Indian buffet!!! This restaurant is located in Brampton and I live no where near there, but whenever my fam and I are in the mood for Indian food, we always drive down cause, its worth the trip! They are a clean location and buffet is always looked after/kept tidy. They are always stirring the curries so that it doesn't look dull or cold. The food is always warm/hot and freshly made! Dosa are amazing here as are the biryanis! They have a wide range of food and even include a hakka/fusion sections which is also delicious. They have kid friendly food as well such as pizza, noodles, and other things that are also freshly made! Desserts are to die for here!! They have a chocolate fountain, with fruits, ice-cream and cakes! Lots of appetizers as well! The only negative thing about this place would be is that they are BUSY! so wait times can vary from 30 mins-2 hours depending on the day and time you go. Weekends are always BUSY! and dinner is way more busier than lunch, but lunches can be just as busy esp holiday times! They don't take reservations either.

This restaurant is totally vegetarian yet tastes very good The same Indian authentic taste is to die for The service here is excellent Loved their buffet options but prefer a la carte here Again the service staff is very warm friendly and ready to help very very pleasant in a full restaurant on the Diwali day The restaurant was full and a long wait We ordered our papri chaat / pani poori/ chana bhaturas/ mango lassi and masala chai Wow loved the masala chai. Haven't had it better than this The mango lassi was good too Loved their papri chaat and pani poori tasted really good Didn't much care for the chana bhaturas and that's not something I care about However my husband loved as he had ordered it While on Brar how can we miss the sweets They actually have the best sweets Absolutely love their Indian sweets I feel they are the best The wash rooms were a bit of a concern as not very clean and has paper thrown around on the floor and messy Strongly recommended specially if you like veggie food

First plate from the buffet started with the salad bar. I then found the Hakka section, so I messed up my plate. No regrets!

I have been to Brar's for a few years. I'm embarrassed that I have never uploaded a single photo from any meal that I've enjoyed here and that I have never done a review. All of these issues will be fixed now! My colleague suggested this place when we had two colleagues from India helping us out for a few months. All three of them are vegetarian. This buffet place suits their dietary needs. It also expanded my own. This place has lunch and dinner buffets. I have been to both and they never fail. The variety is wonderful and everything is fresh. The lunch and dinner buffet prices include refills on coffee, tea, and pop. If you get the fancier drinks, such as watermelon juice or lassi, you have to shell out. In the summer time, I love the mango salad. Mango is shredded and it is to die for! There is also a guy in the parking lot who sells cases of mangos. The restaurant uses the same mango supplier, so the guy isn't some random weirdo camping out. There are at least a dozen different curries available. The salad bar is extensive. The soup area has four different varieties. You also have Hakka foods, such as fried rice and noodles. I love the warm naan and pakoras. There are also western food items, such as fries and veggie pizza. The dessert section is amazing! You have a milk chocolate fountain where you can dip various chunks for fruit. There is tons of ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. I have a favourite dessert there, but I still haven't got a clue what it's called. It's just pure heaven. I feel incomplete if I don't have it at Brar's. The place gets busy for dinner at 7 pm no suggest coming earlier. I did with my friend on Sunday night at 5:30 pm and we didn't have to wait. You can order filtered water, but you have to pay extra for it. Go with tap water. It tastes fine. I love it here. I wish that this location was closer to home. I'd be there more often! (55)

$14 - Vegetarian Thali. IMHO, too expensive for a thali. Should be around $8-$9 max.

The head chef has gone on vacation and it shows because the food wasn't the same quality. He should be back in September.

I always say I was born in the wrong era, I wish I was born when diners and milkshakes and drive ins were the popular thing to do. Well turns out history repeats itself and I am here for it. Okay back to the milkshakes and ice cream, without further ado here is my review: She's Nuts Bubble Waffle - creamy thick vanilla ice cream topped off with Nutella, chocolate sauce, nuts and a ferrero rocher. It was all wrapped in a freshly made bubble waffle! I loooved this one because I swear there are no places in Mississauga where you can get bubble waffles and now that I found them, I'm always going back hehe Unbrûléevable (creme brûlée) Milkshake - the flavours were soooo sweet with a hint of that burnt caramel, topped off with a waffle biscuit and rimmed with little chocolate ball thingies this one looked and tasted delicious! Overall I loved both the ice cream and waffle and the milkshake, they have many more flavours to try! However the desserts aren't the only thing I appreciated it, the staff here were super sweet and from what I understand it's a women owned local business! Y'all know I'm all about empowering my queens! They opened not too long ago in August 2020, just about a year now and I wish them all the luck, they are already killing it with a second location in brampton! Thank you shake it and co for the amazing desserts, friendly service and hospitality! See you ladies soon, cheers. Check them out y'all!

Tik Tok brought my friend and I here on a rainy weekend!…read more This restaurant was adorable and great for Instagram photos! It is on the smaller side, so they usually ask customers to wait outside and they'll text you when your order is ready, so they can limit the number of people inside their store. There is an overhang so you can be sheltered from the weather if you did not come by car. The menu did not disappoint! The milkshakes were creamy, tasty and so aesthetically pleasing! The iced cream does melt quickly though so it may get messy, especially in the summer. Definitely worth it though! Parking is a breeze since the store shares the medium sized parking lot with the rest of the plaza. Transit from downtown Toronto can be quite the mission however, and you'll have to transfer from TTC to MiWay.

Tried the strawberry milkshake, Nutella hot chocolate, and French crepe with an apple crumble inspired topping called pomme pilot, one of Demetres favorites. By far the strawberry milkshake was the best I've ever had; the balance of tartness and sweetness with the fresh strawberries was the best! The Nutella hot chocolate was also delicious, and came with a roasted marshmallow, and had a lighter sweetness which complemented the French crepe well! The French crepe tasted really good on its own, and their ice cream seemed to be made in house with a lighter sweetness as well to work with all the toppings. It's not often I come across a dessert cafe that's so well thought out. Kudos!

It does make you feel good to sit here. The vegan options that we care about for the last decade have actually changed a bit. Disappointing. Took overseas family this time. Many different options were selected by family. They did like it. The portions are big and some of them are suitable to be shared. The vegan Takes Two to Tango comes with mango sorbet. It was OK but not great. Missed the earlier options. Comes topped with strawberry and banana. While many options are available for ice creams and even whipped cream - none are available at DD.

I've had a lot of tiramisu in my life and have tried them in Italy. Nonna Lia is on par with Italy and truly some of the best I've ever had! THIS is what you expect when you're looking for a tiramisu. The mascarpone was velvety and sweetened just right. The espresso came through but wasn't too strong. And there were no chocolate shavings in sight hahaha. I'm a believer in no chocolate in classic tiramisu!! The strawberry tiramisu was out of this woooorld. Think strawberry shortcake but with the same mascarpone cream in the OG tiramisu. I kept staring at each bite, like how did they make this? How can I recreate this?? Lol. It was just so good. I was literally saying "omg" after each bite. I was blown away. I received the tiramisu pop for free, as I was one of the first to visit their new location in Brampton. It tasted exactly like the OG tiramisu but just in a popsicle form! I know I said no chocolate, but this actually worked well and was a very clever and unique idea. Anyways, I'll be trying all the flavours and they can take all my money :p. I'm so happy there's a Brampton location!!
