I've been in nicer laundromats -- there's a super nice on in Aurora --- and I've been in many worse ones (pretty much everywhere else). This one is okay. It seems well maintained and the machines are fairly clean. I like that there are giant washing machines, so if you have a ton of laundry to get through, you can pile it into one huge washer and save some time. There are some pretty big dryers as well. The place is brightly lit and while not spotless, it's mostly clean. My daughter and I were there during the evening, but she told me that she'd been there during the day and that the owner is normally on-site, overseeing everything. If you have to go to a laundromat, choose this one.

Paid almost $70 for this and received both back in a lovely zipped plastic bag... ideal for storing them away until needed. Fast forward to late April, I pulled them out to place on my guest bed...only to find mould on them. The only way that can happen is that they were placed in the bag damp. I went to Roseland and spoke to the owner who first tried to accuse me of putting the blanket in the bag as he did not recall cleaning it. I produced my bill and told him to look at the bill they wrote up....it clearly stated the blanket was a part of it. He said he would try to clean and then if unable to fix the issue, we could talk about compensation. Today, 2 days later, he called and told me it is my fault and that he is not going to do anything about it. This is not the way to run a reputable business! Mr. Owner... DO THE RIGHT THING and at the very least try to clean them again. Shame on you!! Would have given a zero rating if that were possible.

Got my receipt and left. I went to pick up my garments on Monday of the following week but I didn't have my receipt. i told the lady at the counter I didn't have the receipt and to check the computer by my name and number. in the process they couldn't find my order and she refused to check the store for my garments. The only thing she wanted was the receipt. She had no customer service skills and treated me as if I was trying to scam the store. I was very frustrated and got into an argument with this very rude employee who pointed her finger in my face and offered no solutions to my problem Upon leaving the store they followed me to my car took pictures etc. I called their head office and emailed them and they haven't responded to this day. Please don't do business with Stitch It they have no customer service skills and a very rude. long story short I went back to the store a week later to get my dry clothes and discovered they entered my name on their computer incorrectly and hence the issue with locating my name and order. The entire problem was caused by their employee mis spelling my name. This business is a complete joke stay away.

I was told to get the same material and then they can alter. I won't be able to get the same material. I wanted to discuss some other ideas with the person on shift, but she kept rudely interjecting before I could finish what I was saying. As a business that people rely on for alterations they can't make themselves, is it too much to ask that the people working for the business listen to the potential customer's ideas and questions and talk through a few options? Not just tell the customer they need to go do something they won't be able to achieve. Really disappointing.
