Lots of great choices in the food court. I wish I lived closer to try them out. For sit down dining, they also have Earl's Kitchen, which is a great regional chain, and Cactus Club (haven't tried it yet) right across from it. Plenty of parking. The only downside is how busy traffic to and from the mall and freeway is. Friendly service in every store I visited. You can find everything from good values to high end merchandise.

Made up of a few blocks in downtown Burlington (steps from the waterfront, Brant Street Pier, and Spencer Smith Park), Village Square has a number of restaurants, patios, pubs, and unique specialty shops and services. Think of it as an outdoor mall. It reminds me of a cross between Toronto's Yorkville and Distillery District (albeit smaller and more compact). The place can be a bit quiet in the morning, but comes alive at night with lights and sometimes live music (especially in the summer months).

The decor of each building has an old European look. The closest equivalent in Toronto is The Distillery District but Village Square is smaller and butter implemented in my opinion. It was a busy place on a Saturday night with most of the restaurants filled. There are little nooks and crannies are that very photographic. There is even a musician to entertain people.

I really like this shopping centre. This is a Games Workshop Brand store, they sell Fantasy and Sci-Fi miniatures for gaming as well as…read morepaints and hobby tools. before I start this review I would like to say that I used to enjoy coming here a few months ago, everyone was friendly and the store was really clean. that changed a few months ago. The shop has a whole range of tools for modeling and painting under the "Citadel" brand. while they are decent tools, they are incredibly expensive for what they are. a pair of clippers will run you 40$ without tax, paints will cost you about 6$ a pot for about 12ml of actual paint, and a small bottle of plastic glue is about 10$. the pricing for tools and glue is very expensive and for this reasons i looked for alternatives. i found cheaper tools and glue for a fraction of the price, so i could buy more miniatures. This did not please GW, the manager of the store asked me to leave for having a bottle plastic glue out that wasn't "Citadel" brand. even though every time I'm in there I buy something to support the store. i found the store to be trying to rope in newer customers and push people away from there store who have experience in models and have their own tools. The store has completely turned me off from buying any Citadel products and has off put me from continuing to support their brand. I do NOT recommend newer customers or parents researching this hobby for their children go into a Game Workshop store, The way they treat their Customers is horrible, they drive out anyone looking to save a bit of money and demand that you be loyal only to them. if you wish to play Warhammer then I highly recommend looking for a Independent retailer. they are MUCH better then Corporate Games Workshop stores.
