The changing areas are outfitted with couches and tv's. we could even have gone fishing if we had time. the girls side that beautiful and lots of room and mirrors to get ready. As a father of the bride - this was our best investment. Kevin and his family that helped us are just some very good people. you will not be disappointed. they provided beautiful farm tables and a buffet table plus all the other tables and chairs for the guests. they had a tri fold wood door setup that we used and it was perfect.

A representative of the house came and told us we could swim immediately. After about 4 hiurs, one of the guests got into the pool and his eyes turned immediately blood red. They were blood red the next evening as he did his grromsman duties during the wedding. The house claims to have towels, wash clothes, medical supplies, iron, etc. There was no iron, ironing board but no iron! We were there for a wedding so we needed to have pressed clothes. Unfortunately this venue doesn't care. There was one hair dryer for a venue that sleeps 15. The first aid/medical cabinet contained a jar with 2 halls cough drops. There is a tv but no service. An alarm goes off every time any door is opened, all day amd night. You cannot turn it off. For the price you pay, this place is really not worth it. They claim to have a cleaning crew however, the tables have mold on them and the toilet had feeces in. So obviously this crew has no clue how to clean. The outside scenery is very beautiful. Unless the management steps up their game, I would not recommend.

There was a beautiful chapel back in the woods, a little bit away from the noise of the parking lot, then there was a stage for the DJ or band next to the dance floor and lots of tables in a little pavilion area and restrooms indoors. My aunt said the venue was great to work with, even as they were figuring out some of the things for the first time, like installing their first permanent dance floor. We all had so much fun! I also got the scoop on the AirBnB from my aunt. Apparently, there's a lovely cabin where you can lower the walls and sleep under the stars in mosquito netting. I want to come back and stay here!

Tammy met us up at Green Gables 3 separate times so I could take measurements and look at things again to plan. She has a huge collection of decorations that she doesn't mind you using. She does a great job keeping Green Gables looking amazing and is always looking for more ways to improve. When you book Green Gables, you get the venue for the whole weekend which makes set up and clean up much easier than at other places, plus you have somewhere to stay the night after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Tammy and Green Gables! If I had to give any feedback, the guest cottage where the ladies usually get ready could use some more lighting, but that was a comment from the makeup artist...
