Dr Brannen & his staff are wonderful!
Getting married includes fabulous things such as changing insurance plans & finding new providers. My husband has been going to see them for a while, so that's where I went.
Helen, the hygienist, is very thorough. I have oral hygiene that leaves something to be desired. She didn't talk down to me at all about it. She had me show her how I floss & then corrected my form. She recognized the fact that I probably won't brush twice a day & to do it at night if that's how I roll. I had some stains on my teeth that I was convinced would never come off & she got them off.
Dr Brannen is equally nice. He's very personable & also recognizes that people have habits & habits are hard to break. He said that its his job to offer what he thinks is best (in my case, he suggested braces for my bottom teeth), but it's my decision to take it. Thanks Dr B!
Laurie, the receptionist, runs a very low tech operation. There isn't even a computer at the front desk. She has everything down, though. I have a nostalgic love of paper, so part of me appreciates that. She greets everyone by name & remembers some detail about them.
This is probably the best experience I've ever had with a dentist. Hopefully he won't retire anytime soon! read more
